  1. Can I cry? I just checked again and the order still shows original ship date of 10th and it's still in production. Just hope it arrives (AND that I can keep hubby from knowing about it) in time for Christmas. Just realized my order was for one day later than yours so maybe it will ship Monday. Very happy you received yours and hope you enjoy them.
  2. Good luck. I have been trying to get $19.99 refunded back to my Paypal account due to a problem involving Buy.com and have decided I will NEVER make another purchase from them.
  3. Ordered the 1525 Laptop on sale on December 1 (Cyber Monday) which was to be shipped today, December 10. Just got an email saying it would be the 19th before shipping. Yikes, sure hoping these items are actually received before Christmas.
  4. WOW! My ornament exchange arrived yesterday afternoon and was I ever pleased. It was a Willow Tree Angel with a Yankee Candle in Christmas Wreath fragrance. Really needed that nice pick-me-up as I've been down and in the hospital awhile with a very bad infected leg. The candle smells soooooooo good and the angel is already up in the tree. Thanks to whoever sent it. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z282/JohnsDepot/2008_1210Christmas0011.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z282/JohnsDepot/2008_1210Christmas0010-1.jpg
  5. Just be forwarned that you may well have to pay for the item and them order it. We bought a large screen TV 2 years ago (maybe 3 now), and I was the very first person at the register. STILL, they had no stock. Turns out that NONE of the stores within 80 miles had the TV actually in stock and they wouldn't see the display. We paid for one and continued our shopping around town. Ended up at an appliance store and got what was suppose to be the same TV for a matching price. Since I had done some research I realized the TV we were buying at the appliance store was really a higher end so we came out way ahead. Stopped back by Sears and cancelled our order.
  6. Brad, I read this again and where do you come up with the buy both, you pay $599 total?
  7. Read it again and again. I thought that but it appears that EACH piec is $599. Maybe I am reading it wrong.
  8. I deserve to be picked as I've worn my other one (purchased) far more often than just Black Friday. People are always asking about it so it DOES generate interest.
  9. Waycross, GA unless I can convince hubby we MUST take our 18 year old son to Chicago for once in his life.
  10. I went to our local Staples (only one around in 60 miles) and they said the limits were being strictly enforced and teachers had no higher limits like in the past years. Bummer. Wonder if this is only our local store or really a system-wide situation that simply is not being enforced in other locations.
  11. Last year there was no limit. Even when they have limits I would make a purchase (as well as hubby if he was with me plus anyone else I might know that was in the store) and then make another purchase. I was able to stock up for several teachers who live miles from our Staples (our son's school was 25 miles from home and Staples is 1 mile).
  12. I bought the Garmin 750 for hubby at Christmas. Ended up at Provantage.com cause they had the best price.
  13. $2.93 tonight here in Waycross, GA - at Wal-Mart.
  14. $2.93 here in Waycross, GA - at Wal-Mart
  15. The link isn't bringing me any law - just back to GottaDeal.
  16. Eve, thanks so very much for all the hard work you've put into this 2007 Christmas Exchange. I know it's made me feel very special and I'm really looking forward to next year. Hopefully, those who did not follow through will not be allowed to join in next year. You know, once burned, twice shy.
  17. OK I'm already looking forward to the 2008 Exchange. Getting ideas for cards as I didn't sign up for that this year. Should be ready to go just as soon as Eve gives the signal. Oh yeah, I will be on the ornament exchange again. I love the ones I received this year and they look so pretty on my tree.
  18. Last ones I had to buy were 10 cents each. More than happy to pay it cause we had uniforms that had to be on hangers. This summer, when our son heads to college, he needs the same ones - metal with the cardboard tube - and the college even said they could be purchased at the laundry.
  19. If you EVER see a sale on these, please post ASAP. Hate they exclude the one jeans that actually fit me.
  20. I ran across the "not on sale" the day I bought them. One woman had something like 5 pair of various style jeans - NONE the right-fit jeans - for almost the same amount as my one pair. Only thing is I have not had a pair of womens jeans fit me in years and years. Mens are made for the straighter body but the stride is LONG. I'm going to see how these do after washing (they are under the tree as something from hubby LOL) and if OK, will end up with a couple more pair.
  21. Gosh, I wish I had a store close to me. I just purchased a pair of their right fit jeans a couple of weeks ago but $25 sounds much better than $40.
  22. Sorry I didn't post this earlier but I received a package from LOUISVILLE, KY (used to live there so that made it even more special). The prettiest hand-spun glass angel and a wreath with 2 angels and a bow. THANKS so very much as they will add a wonderful touch to our tree.
  23. WRONG - I WAS the one who put who it was from. LOL
  24. I just received our Garmin 750 and THOUGHT it was going to be made in USA. WRONG. Unit plainly states DESIGNED in USA MADE in Taiwan., Was really disappointed as I believed people when they said they were made in the USA. We did NOT get a free trial of the traffic system. Update maps are not free - but then again, neither are they from TomTom. Am I happy with the unit? Yes, beyond a doubt. Just know that what I've read from several people is not exactly correct - at least not so in our case.
