What is the chance that the toy markdown will be 50% instead of 75%? Seems like the consensus here is 75% since the 50% should have been done by now. But you never know...

Does anyone know if any of the discounts will apply to toys online??

I'm surprised I haven't seen Valentine's merchandise out yet. My store has all of the owl/turtle place settings and bath/kitchen items but no children's Valentine's or candy out yet. Does anyone know when they start putting it out? I thought it'd already be out by now! This year, my son is able to give the Hot Wheels cars (individually wrapped w/ 'To: and From:' on them) that I bought at 75% clearance THREE YEARS AGO!!! I bought 4 packs to make a total of 24 cars! That made me wonder why they haven't put out the rest of the V-day merchandise. I seem to remember lots of goodies from last year. I'm already looking forward to the clearance!

I hope so! I asked the clerk who was working in the toy section if he knew when they would go to 75%. He had no idea and I don't think he was playing it coy. This guy looked pretty clueless.

Finally picked up the Barbie Advent. It was 75% off at $4.xx. Unfortunately, the LPS advents are still ringing up at $10.xx. So random! I noticed, at my Target, that even though ALL the signs said 30% off, there were still things on those shelves that were 50% or 75% off. The red stickers ON the item were correct though so I just ended up looking at everything on the shelves very closely -that's how I snagged the Barbie Advent. There were still a lot of them left. So does anyone think the 75% off will happen during the weekend? That would really suck! Our Targets are PACKED on the weekends so it would hurt those of us that make the early morning weekday trips. People that are there just to shop would find out about all the deals! booooo!!

Anyone in the Hampton Roads Area... I was in the S. Independence Target today and overhead one of the managers telling one of the workers that there were 4 pallets of Christmas stock to be put out. He said it was "lots of Christmas wreaths and Christmas plastics" whatever that means! It seemed like they were going to put it out tonight. The rest of the stock was pretty much picked over with lots of cards, tree ornaments and candy canes left.

Any VA perusers notice if the kids rugs were at 75% off yet? I have a feeling they won't for awhile. I've been stalking them like crazy and they've been 30% or 50% off for WEEKS!

I'm in VaBeach! Nice to see there are other Hampton Road-ers here. We used to live in NN (grew up there) as well as Wmsbg (went to grad school at WM), too!

Anyone have reports of whether the kids' rugs were clearanced at 75% yet?

At my Target (va.beach) the entire aisle (in the Home/Gifts section) was labeled 50% off but the rugs were still at 30% off. I asked an associate and she went ahead and honored the 50% price! Does anyone know if the rugs were reduced today? DCPI: 41564109 (this is for the Color Block Rug, there is also one with flowers and another boys' rug in sports theme).
