Just got the ad in the Dallas Morning News just now. It is a 6 page glossy ad. The young kids in my family are waiting for Friday as well. This year will be neat since my girlfriend who is South Asian (Indian) have never seen a Chanukah before so she is excited to see what one is like.

6:22am CST Update: I just got the Sunday Dallas Morning News and they had a regular holiday ad. I would look in the Mondays and Tuesdays papers for the special.

The image I posted was a card/flyer that I got in the mail on Friday. I dont have access to the ad and I would recommend that you look in your Sunday paper and look in the Monday and Tuesday paper as well to see if they have the ad. If I get my hands on it I will post it.

I just got a flyer in the mail about a doorbuster sale that will take place on Dec 12-13 2006. I will scan the flyer in and post it in the next few minutes.

My parents felt sorry for me and my friends so they fixed us each a plate. They even fixed a plate for the two Indian sisters who were next to us who I am friends with and stay in contact with.

My group of 5 was numbers 6 - 10 and then we adopted 2 Indian women which I became friends with so they were 11 and 12. The coat I was wearing was a ski coat to keep warm. My cover has been blown! :) The first people in line was an Indian couple which were in chairs got there around 10pm on Wednesday night. The people in the dark blue and grey dome tent got there around 11:30pm on Wednesday. I got there around 12 noon on Thursday. The women in the chair with the leg cast next to the light blue tent we think was homeless and was sitting in line for someone. The reason we think she was homeless because she did not know what a computer really was and my friend who is a police officer who was with us told me he thinks that he has seen her in Downtown Dallas at the soup kitchen. We could not be 100% sure.

A comment on regional forums..... I would like to see it structured Northwest, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, Northeast, New England and Canada. Under each sub forum for a discription you can list the states. I really liked the Gottadeal Hotline and it should start 2 weeks before BF. I agree there should be a subforum for price matching. The price matching postings got out of hand this year and tempers got hot. I liked the store forums and should be back next year. I would like to see a sub forum for news stores. There has alot this year but I guess next year there would be alot more. This sub we can post the story and talk about it. Just an idea.

Just a first. It is very normal to see Middle Eastern women covered and they all drive mini vans.

Thanks for the kind comments. Alot of people got comfy out there. Some had cots and beds. A group of arabic girls busted out a hookah. I would have taken a picture of it but they were wearing a Niqab and I did not want to over step my bounds and make them uncomfy. The picture with the guy in the shorts was taken around 3pm. The high temp in Dallas that day was in the upper 70s.

The story on WFAA was about kids selling there tickets to people at the end of the line. I agree with H_Hancock post about the media and the lines. I have been saying this over the past few days as well and think next year BF might be different.
