For me I am doing recon and intel on this site and sometime on Wednesday night I am in front of BB with my tent camping out.

I think people see this site as only a Black Friday site as there are many sites out there that are active druing BF. I know Brad and the crew has been trying to let people know that this is not the case.

For who ever is in charge of this year I am willing to volunteer my time!

I know RossMAN worked hard on the GD BF hotline. Will this be back next year? I am willing to volunteer to help on this year.

Remember when Brad had to turn off the online users list on the front page because it was causing the site to load slow and crash? He needs to remember to do it again this year. I hope this site gets bigger and bigger.

I had a armed off duty police officer with me who was camping out in our group. We had no problems :)

There are other high end stores that have personal shoppers but as far as a main stream retail store BB is the only one that has this program and as I stated in my FAQ there are only a few stores that have this program. You just have to call around in your area.

My family came out and gave me and my new friends in line turkey dinner Thursday night. If the pilgrims had BB they would be out there. :)

You can bring chairs. Alot of people bring chairs, tents and coolers. What most people do is when it is time to go in they just leave the chairs out there until they are done. You can buy cheap chairs at WM for about $15.00.

TVs will be hot this year since price points last BF were way down. If you really want a new TV I would get to BB Thanksgiving morning. When we get closer to BF the media is going to pump up BF sites like this one and more and more people will get in on the action. Also last year WM and BB issued there official ad 4 days early so tht gave the general public time to plan and get there. At my BB in Texas if you were not there by 2pm thanksgiving day you were out of luck.

Welcome to the community! While I am not in your area if you cant find anyone here that lives in the area I would call the local store you want to shop at and ask them what the lines have been like in years past. I would say for myself if you really want the laptop I would count on camping out.

Welcome to the community! Last year laptops went from $350.00 to around $700.00. Keep in mind that the laptops with the lower price has the least options meaning less memory/RAM. So you may want to put more RAM into your budget as well as the extended warranty protection plan. Good luck!

The best way to find out is to go to the Best Buy website and use the store finder. Type in your zip code and start calling your local BB stores and as if they have a PSA program. What is the PSA Program at Best Buy? The PSA program is a special program at some Best Buy stores across the country. There trained BB employees help customers in shopping and gift buying with a personal touch. This includes emailing a want list to a PSA and the PSA will pull your items and all you have to do is check out when you get to the store. Is the PSA program free? Yes. Personal shoppers do accept tips. Can I use the PSA program during Black Friday? Yes and No. Some stores will shut down there PSA program during Black Friday weekend and others will open the PSA desk during BF. How Can I sign up for PSA for Black Friday? You must call your local BB that has a PSA desk and make an appointment. A BB corp memo went out Sept 1 stating that resverations for BF will start on Nov 2 2007. How does the PSA program work on BF? Some stores will make up there own rules so please check with your local BB store manager. In general what will happen is on Nov 2 2007 you will call your local PSA store and make an appointment. Then you will email your non-doorbuster want list to your PSA. On Thanksgiving day you will camp out in front of BB. After you got your tickets and after the doors open you will head to the PSA area. Most of the time it is located in the back of the store in the install bays. There you will give your PSA your tickets and he/she will pull your ticketed items. While she does that some stores will serve light breakfast and coffee to PSA customers. After your PSA pulls your items you will be checked out. After that you pull your 1977 Eldorado to the back and your PSA will load your car for you. Do I have to stand in line and camp out for my ticketed/doorbuster items? Yes! They will NOT pull ticketed/doorbuster items. They will pull other items that are not doorbusters. Items like memory, software, cables and stuff like that. If they can't pull doorbuster items then why do it? It saves you time. After the doors open at BB the average wait time to check out is 2 hours! Also it can give you a chance to eat and use the potty. When can I sign up? Nov 2 2007

You were lucky. Most BB stores close there customer service desk so they can use all lanes and all workers for checkout. My friend who works for BB said that this year all doorbusters will have a special UPC so they cant be price adjusted.

I would also like to add that the BB site crashes every BF monring and Thanksgiving morning.

It is good to see all of my BF friends out there and welcome to the new members. How long have you been doing BF? What got you started? How did you find this community? This will be my 5th year of BF and my 3rd in this community.

Most BB lines are in good order and the people who work at BB do a great job in handing out the tickets and keeping order. If you are going to want to shop there for BF I would strongly consider getting in line around 1130pm on Wednesday. This is a very popular store on BF because of the deals they have. Good Luck!

Last year Wal Mart and Best Buy posted there ad a week before on there website.

I would like to add when it comes to computers stores like Wal Mart and Best Buy will go to the computer maker (Dell, Gateway, HP) and have them build a special model for BF. This model will have a special UPC number and model number. 99% of the time you cant find very detailed specs becuase of the special model number and it is not in there regular stock.
