  7. In Texas you can becuase of the ticket laws that are local and state. BB in Texas puts a value on the tickets in small print.

Even if it is a press release. This gives the author of the subject matter credit and so the readers can reference back if needed.
  11. BB want to try to prevent fraud on BF so some stores will write the customer name on the ticket and you have to show ID to pick it up.
  12. My dad who is in upper management told me they have been dealing with xmas since June. It comes early for him every year. I dont want to gross anyone out but he also told me that the candy canes arrive in the DC's around March.
  13. I talked to a friend of mine who works for WM and they are trying hard to change the image of the WM free for all so they wont have any more bad press or OSHA come down on them. My friend said you will see BIG changes at WM this year.
  14. NOAA which runs the National Weather Service issued their winter weather outlook today. Below is a link to that report and may give us a idea on BF. http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2009/20091015_winteroutlook.html
  15. The tickets had no resale on them and the manager had the guy arrested after he would not leave the property. He got his tickets taken away. Year before last I posted photos of the incident. It was funny to see.
  16. Welcome to the community! Where did you hear this info?
  17. Amen!
  18. That would be a great idea. There is no harm in asking as line starts at different times at different BB. My BB the line starts around 3am on Wednesday. Why? Because that is when I get in line. The week of BF I would watch this site as people will post line reports starting the Monday before BF. If you have any more questions just ask! Welcome to the community!
  19. I agree with conj. I dont think this will be a major issue. Remember it is thanksgiving and most families spend it together. Out of the 6 years I have done BF at BB I have only seen one person try to sell a ticket and they were arrested shortly after by the manager. Most of the people in front of the line are two types. BF die-hards like me who will camp for days or students (High School/College) who are in need of a laptop or desktop.
  20. Welcome to the community! Apple locks down prices so no matter where you go it will be the same price. What you have to look for as already stated is stuff that is bundled like accessories or a iTunes gift card. This is the same general rule for all Apple products.
  21. Welcome to the community! The rules are un-written. My best advice is to be friendly, make friends with the people in line and when you leave for the rest room come right back. If you leave to get food ask the people around you if they need food. Most people in line wont be happy to let you leave to warm up. I would get hand warmers, propane heaters and a tent. If you make friends with the people in line then you will be set. If not it will be a long 24-48 hours.
  22. Ahhhhh You are from LV. So you know my friend Oscar. I live in Texas and it is very cold or warm on BF. No in between. Go to the link below and you will see what myself and others take to keep warm on BF. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=146914 Let us know what you are looking for on BF and we can give you a idea on when to get inline. Of course when the ads hit we can give you a better idea down to the house. Welcome to the community!
