Why does it terrifies you?

I shop at Best Buy (I am the first person in line for BF 6 years running) and shop at Wm as well. I shop at WM for the good prices and I want to save. The profile for a WM customer has changed. More and more high income customers shop at WM.

Where did you find this? If you found it via Google and or the archives of this site then it is a old link that has not been updated. Google likes to archive links and puts them in the search.

WM will price match anything if it is the same item but be careful when price matching BB items. BB likes to have the manufacture create a special SKU and Model number for there door buster desktops and laptops. This way they can prevent from people price matching because most price matching policies state it has to be the same exact item. BB also likes to customize the config so you will have to buy more RAM and makes it harder to PM.

Sears will open at 4 am on Black Friday - Atlanta, Georgia

Thanks for posting! What general area is the store in? -
I dont think WM will ever become BB competitor. For that to happen WM will have to open it's own electronics store and carry everything that BB does. I think in some markets WM will do well in electronics. People who go to BB or went to CC not only went there to buy stuff but also to ask questions and get answers. I dont see WM being the place for answers.

If you use the AOL program to get into GD you will have an issue since you are connecting to comcast and then AOL servers and then using AOL servers to connect to the net. If you dont use the AOL program I think you will be ok.

Half Price Books has always been a stand up company. The calender is well with spending money to get it. They have 15% off coupons in the calender that can be used year around. If anyone is ever in Dallas it is worth the trip to visit the flagship store off of Northwest Highway.

HHGregg is a regional store in 9 states and wont have much impact on BB just like Frys or any of the other regionals out there. They may hurt them in local areas but not over all.

I agree 100%. The ad last year was not as good as in past years.

Best Buy Black Friday Ticket System, FAQ and Sample Ticket

Welcome to the community! Everything that is on sale will be in the sales ad. A few years back they had some hidden sales that only the people in line knew about the day of. In the past the monitors are on the sales floor and it is first come. I go to a high volume store and they will have around 200 of each one. If you have any more questions just ask! -

Thoughts on how Circuit City's absence will affect tech deals on Black Friday?
bigjimslade replied to Brad's topic in 2009
I really dont see WM, TRU or Target as competition for BB. The only reason I say that is electronics is only a small part of WM, TRU and Targets business model.
