In the past most of the BF sales at the outlets start a Midnight and go until 11am or so. Closer time to BF Tanger in the past has issued out press releases on their websites with the details and times for each mall.

I just think the savings we had several years ago are not there.

For the MASH dvd's try Barnes and Nobel and the online store for Family Video. I was at a BN store here in Dallas and they had alot of the TV series for 50% off including MASH. I got Columbo on DVD for 50% off.

The last 2 BF's Sears did this with alot of practical items they offered. I think we will see this with Target and others as well.

This topic of kids and preg women at BF comes up every year and I think most people's concern is safety. Every year you hear about people getting seriously hurt and 2 years ago we had a death.

Now that will be a great PR event for Gottadeal.com! LOL

If you want to be sure you get what you need I would avoid the online sales. In years past servers have crashed and some stores have oversold. To me the technology is not there just yet and I would not take a chance.

When I started to do BF 8 plus years ago it was for the great deals. Now i just do it for the tradition and to hang out with friends I have made while in line in years past.

Stationchief is right on money when it comes to PM. Over the last 2 years or so more stores have cracked down on PM and even have added Black Friday and Holiday clauses to their policy. Also there are some stores who leave it up to the local store manager and some store mangers dont care while others do. It is very spotty. My advice is if you want an item then you need to plan, plan plan. Be at the store early and you will get your item. If you PM then do it at your own risk as most stores do frown on PM during black friday.

I use a gas generator. I put it where the grassy medians are in the parking lot and run a extention cord. Most stores are not that nice and wont let you use their power. Most stores dont hve any outlets outside and if they do they can say you are stealing power. You have to remember I camp out for days on end where most people camp 24-30 hours. I am out there for 3-5 days.

I did not go to BB last year to shop. I did go to several BB to see what the lines were like and to the BB i go to check on my friends who has my tents and port a potty and such. There was nothing that I saw was worth going for on BF. Everything last year could be purchased on sales the week before or at Sams. I dont need computers since I have all Macs and I have a TV in every room in the house. We will see what they have this year. With BB being the only game in town they have no motivation to put on great sales like they use to 3-6 years ago.

I really dont think we will see alot of electronic deals this year. Reason being is that they are already at a low price and there is no competition out there for Best Buy. It seems like Best Buy last year did not try as hard. I think you will see alot of practical items like kitchen needs, clothing and stuff for the home.
