Is anyone expecting good deals the closer we get to Christmas?

It depends on the deals!

When do you wrap gifts? As you buy them or all at once? Christmas Eve?

I spent more this year than in years past, mostly due to the fact that I've been budgeting and have a part time job. I'd say I'll spend around $600 for each child, I have three. It seems like a lot to me, but I've really cut out buying them stuff the rest of the year, except for birthdays.

I just bought a little tin Christmas mailbox at Target. I"m going to make a little note for the kids and put a little treat in the mailbox each night for the next morning. :)

Are you done Christmas shopping yet? Are you looking for anything else in particular? Did you finish your shopping yesterday? I'm still looking for a good deal on a Gameboy Advance SP. Other than that, I'm almost finished!

One of the reasons I use layaway is to have a handy place to hide items! Of course, I still have to hide them from the 15th to the 25th, but 10 days of hiding is way better than 2 months - especially last year when I had a trampoline on layaway. I think it's unfair to assume these people were "gambling" on being able to pay for it - you don't know their situation.

Thanks to the nice guy at CompUSA who helped even when he didn't know the answers, instead of just pointing me in another direction like the first guy. Thanks to the guy stocking candles at Kohl's - he had a great sense of humor and made everyone in line laugh. Thanks to the people in the parking lots who stopped and let me cross each and every time I crossed a lane - that was unexpected. Thanks to the guy at Best Buy tonight who gave me a 10% off a DVD, even though the special had passed a long time before. Thanks to everyone who could share a smile or funny remark!

I am wondering how many our Target had. My guess is none!

I spent 65 on a vaccuum and 70 on a Sirius radio that's FAR. That was last night/this morning. So really only $65. This evening was a different story, but it was probably somewhere around $100 tops. Not too bad. And I'm almost done!

I left the house at 10 pm last night and returned at 7:30 a.m. Then we left again at 5 and returned at 11.

I did have a nice conversation in line at CompUSa, but I took a book with me to pass the time.

I thought bait and switch referred to a store advertisting an item at a certain price, but only stocking 1 or none. Then when you show up they try to sell you something similar but more expensive.

Our Kohl's was lovely! There was someone directly people to registers, no one was nuts. Although I wasn't there when it opened and may go back later tonight.

Our Target was a madhouse and everyone was rude! It was just crazy. Also, I'm unsure about whether they sold out of their gameboys or if they just didn't get them - the woman I talked to made it sound like they never had them.

I'm just glad the news reporters who said not to come here were proven WRONG! Haha!

I already had my sleep - sleeping after staying up all night feels soooo good!

So I got the Sirius radio at CompUSA and the sweeper at Kohl's, but no Gameboy. The salesperson at Target made it sound like they never got them! This may be my first and last BF - Target was a nuthouse!
