funny i just opened my paper and there was the Walmart bf ad!!! shocked me!!!

My sisters in laws always take everyone out for dinner after the holidays, as a thank you( we host Christmas as we have the biggest house) for all the home cooked holiday goodness :) Anyway this year they are taking us all out for Christmas Eve instead. this will be the first time ever we are not home to eat on the Eve...it is causing me some anxiety, plus it being my DD's birthday doesn't make me feel any better about it. So yeah, my question is to those who have gone out Christmas Eve as opposed to stayed home....was it a good experience? Would you do it again? It just doesn't feel very "family" to me, even though the whole family will be there.......

mushrooms.....now I am going to have to stand in line at Publix for lord only know how long to buy two packages of mushrooms......

My DD's birthday is Dec 24th.....She will be 7, we usually have a birthday cake for her that night, she (right now) thinks it's very cool to have that day also be her birthday. My brother is the only one who combo's her gift, cheap-o....LOL everyone else is really good about it. She loves Christmas so much that I feel she doesnt mind her birthday always being christmas eve. A kid party is the tough part, because most of her friends go away for the school vacation, and are far too busy the weekends leading up to Christmas, so she may have to wait untill after New Years for that.

OMG I am a slacker.... I have so far for DD 2 top model barbies (clearance @ Target) A Peanuts holiday book (Has all the Peanut holiday stories) an initial bracelet a webkinz, the chick-a-dee For Niece an initial bracelet for mom a snowflake ornament and thats it....I need to get moving!

I work retail.....so I am not going to have the whole day off......ESp. after last year when my boss came in at 7 am (I was outside Old Navy) and she forgot to lock the door when she went in, and loads of people followed her in. Oddly enough, I work at Hallmark and we don not even have BF deals.....rush and excitement shopping I guess! anyway, back to BF, I have asked to work the last shift so I can have the morning off, but knowing my boss she will give me the day off...she's cool that way.

My BF's started when my son was born, 14 years ago, with DH and I hitting TRU when they opened. Then we would go to breakfast and head home so I could wrap everything. The past I would say, then a few years of that, he had enough and I started going by myslef. When I moved to FL my sister and I decided to go together, so after Turkey dinner we look over the flyers and map our plan of attack and then go. Last year my mom and my sisters friend went with us....NEVER again. It was my worst BF EVER!

having worked in retail my whole "career" (lol) I can tell you it is in fact endcaP.....but alas I still do not know why! helpful huh??

Love this store! Just discovered it right before the holidays! I got a pair of venus williams sneakers for $8.98....most comfortable sneakers I have had in a long while...and I work standing on my feet all day!!!! Thinking of going again tomorrow!

Back a little bit ago from my second target today....lol but it was worth it! Scored a dirt devil easy clean bagless vac for $ 12.98.....75% off!!!! I was stoked! Oh and a funny from my earlier Target trip....perusing down the back of the store by cleaning supplies...I see a rubbermaid squeegee on clearance...well I blurt out, "thats a nice squeegee" sounding much like donkey in shrek 1....well this lady coming down the aisle bursts out laughing and says " and it's on clearance too!"......we just roared...man doesnt take much to excite me these days! LOL

anyone know when electronics will go past 30%? I am keeping an eye on the def leppard electric guitar for my son, it was at 30% yesterday....i just dont want to miss it when it goes lower!

I dunno.....my kids must have been sedated....they didnt get up until 9. I was up at 8 wondering why they weren't up!

thats funny at the Hallmark I work at we are not allowed to let any customers use coupons on Webkinz...or any other webkinz merchandise. I was told that was as per Ganz policy.....maybe its just my store afterall.

thats quite a risk.....when we started carrying them at my Hallmark they were in a reg aisle and they found the stuffies, without tags all the time......now they are by the registers. interesting non the less.
