I was just at Target. They have the aisles stocked for black friday (up on the tops). I asked the customer service rep what would happen if I made a purchase now, just to find out the item went on sale for a lower price on Black Friday. She told me I would just need to bring in my receipt and they would adjust the price. I must have reiterated to her 5 times what I was getting at and she assured me that the price adjust would not be a problem, as long as it was within 14 days... So, needless to say, I got a few things off of my Black Friday list. I'll keep you posted on whether or not this actually works. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Is this a good deal? Or did they just jack the price up to make it seem okay? Any thoughts?

FYI-be somewhat careful of your hotel choice. I was born and raised in the Washington area and I would personally avoid hotels in NE Washington, DC as well as anything in Prince George's Co, MD (where Oxon Hill is) for safety purposes. Case in point, there are several hotels on New York Avenue in NE DC and I see tourists all the time walking to and from their hotels looking PRETTY uncomfortable... You won't see THAT info on the hotel brochures. That being said, we've always had luck with priceline, but we seem to get the best deals when we plan a last-minute trip. Also, there is no subway from Dulles airport to DC (not planned until 2016 or so-if at all). The Washington Flyer bus is the "approved" bus that you can take, but I'd bet it is significantly more than $1.50 these days. Good luck planning your trip. I also had no problem using mine (just wish there were more restaurants around me that participate...).

I am ordering one of these for my father-in-law for his birthday. He volunteers at the fire station, and I think that he could have A LOT of fun with this (I just hope he video tapes it...)

I have used Proflowers probably 10 or more times and have always been very happy with what I've gotten. I hope they'll stay true to their word on re-sending new flowers. :)

Trying to get the Small Business laptop from Dell (the 2200 for $478 after rebate). It is no longer valid. Can't upgrade the B120 to make it worth while. I guess I missed the boat ...

I live in this area and ALMOST froze my you-know-what's off waiting at the CC in Sterling. Decided against it and MAN am I glad I did. I hate getting in and out of that parking lot anyway! Think I'm going to order the Dell online or go to the Office Depot for my laptop...
