Todays Woot: Dyson DC22 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum $359.99 + $5 shipping -
We got our bunk bed set (twin over twin) at IKEA. We had checked Walmart, Kmart, Big Lots and shook a lot of bunk beds. The IKEA one seemed the most stable, believe it or not. I think we paid $179 for the bed, without mattresses. Kmart sells cheap, 5" mattresses for $35 each but we paid $95 for really good mattresses at Sam's Club. My son LOVES the bunk bed because it does not shake and he feels very secure sleeping in it.

This is a great deal for a beautiful watch. I would snap it up but my 5 year old Movado is still going strong. -
Here is the link to the ad (it's on the Home Depot website under "local ad"). These are on the first page-they are red in the picture. When you click on the picture, it brings up your options ($599 for red or $499 for white). http://homedepot.shoplocal.com/homedepot/default.aspx?action=entryflash&categoryId=523472&cookies=true&THD_MINICART=1&THD_MINILIST=0&THD_USERREF=192317453&THD_USERREGTYPE=anonymous

I wanted to share the deal I got today. Went to Lowes today. They carry the Home Depot Maytag washer/ dryer set that is advertised for $599 for red and $499 for white in the paper this week. Lowes price matched for the Maytags and added another 10% off (they beat all competitors prices by 10%). So I got the white Maytags for $449 each. I added the extended warranty for $159 (it was $99 per item at Home Depot) and delivery was scheduled for this Wednesday. I had been on the Home Depot site earlier and their earliest delivery was 12/21. Free delivery, set up and removal of old washer/ dryer. So, over the Home Depot sale price I saved an additional $140 ($50 off each unit and $40 savings on the extended warranty). If anyone was on the fence, this is a very good deal.

AWESOME!!! Thanks! -
I just bought $120 worth of coupons for $9.20. Three places are restaurants we normally frequent anyway and the other three are restaurants I have been meaning to try. I think I'm going to feel a little guilty using these-it almost feels like stealing...

I have a question- I signed up under Chairperson/ Volunteer and got my fast pass and coupon. Am I required to volunteer to work at the fair in order to get in? I volunteer at my sons school which is why I signed up as a volunteer. Sorry for the silly question, I am new to this. -

Walmart.com "Unbelievable Online Specials" Week 3
mdcrim replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
These "unbelievable" deals really don't seem so unbelievable... -
I always do a google search for "...car... otd price". Look for the Edmunds towntalk website forum link, which shows how much people paid, out the door, for their new vehicles. It's a great way to research the going prices.

Gifts As Party Favors For 5yr Old Kids
mdcrim replied to redraven's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I always order my party favors from www.smalltoys.com. They are similar to Oriental Trading but cheaper. It normally costs me about $30 for 24 kids, shipped, with each kid getting 7-9 things. -
I tried this at my Staples (loading my husband up w/ 2 items and me w/ 2 of the same items. The lady at the register refused to sell my husbands to us- she said that Staples policy was 2 items per HOUSEHOLD, not 2 items per customer. Needless to say, we drove the 5 miles to the next Staples and traded off going in. In retrospect, I probably could have argued the point (the add said 2 per customer), but it was early and I didn't feel like fighting...

I upgraded to the Truelife screen, added Office Basic and got the second battery. I also opted for the Windows Vista upgrade. With free shipping and using the 20% off coupon the total came to $950.88. Staples has a free McAfee Internet Security Suite after rebate, so I ordered that online, too-I think it's only good through this weekend.
