Department 56 Village pieces....sigh...to be rich and have every single one....

What sticks out for me is getting Seasons 1-4 of 24 for 16.00 each. Most of what I bought was in my hands by October. I went mainly for the fun of it last year. This year, my kids are getting out of the toy stage, so I may have to deal with the night-before lines at Best Buy- I will need lappies. God, I love Black Friday. It is better than sex. Almost.

I use a french press and grind my beans for each pot. It only makes 2 cups, but you wouldn't catch me dead drinking anything that had been sitting in any kind of coffee pot for over 10 minutes- lol- I guess I am what they call a "coffee snob" - I won't even drink the stuff at work.

Well, I guess I will soon find out. My son has an old ipod, I bought him a Zune (got selected for the 90.00 deal). I will let everyone know what he thinks.

What I would do is to cut a piece of strong cardboard the same size as the sheets, place it on the bottom of the pile of stationary, and then tie a wide ribbon around it (packers colors, of course). You could tie some curling ribbon in the center of the ribbon you use to tie the package down with. (If that makes sense).

They are cute- my daughter has a ton of them. They dress kind of hootchie, but it hasn't made my daughter want to dress that way. Jeez- some people have such a stick up their butts. I am an avid Ugg wearer- lol. I buy a new pair every 2 years or so. The only time I have ever seen a pair of geniune Uggs marked down was when the sporting goods stores want to clearance out the funky colors, towards the end of winter. I have seen free shipping on them over the years, but never a coupon or deal.

The ex just called from the car- I sent him to get the xbox. He got the rebate forms, and "the guy" told him that if they tried to pull crap with the rebate, to come into the store and they would refund the 100.00. Uh, yeah. How the heck is the guy going to know whether we received it or not? And what stores make good on rebates that don't come through?? In any event, I am happy to have found a deal on this- and I would not have known about it had it not been for this fantabulous site- so thanks to all that contribute here.:)

You can try Joann's, they have some. Personally, I would invest in the Dept. 56. Start off slowly, because they are expensive, but you cannot match the quality of D56. I am slowly phasing out all of my knockoffs and using only 56. Also try Costco, they have some pretty decent ones.

Do the wallet thing, only use a girl's wallet and put it in a nice purse. Get gift cards, disposable Visa's, McDonalds, Del Taco gift cards, some cash, and put it in the wallet. Or you could get her a really good bag, a Coach or something she will have forever.

The guy got a puzzled look on his face and said "that's funny, we had a ton of them lastnight".....Now, what mystery person could have bought all those copies of Prison Break when the store was closed until the store opened this morning?? lol- And alot of items that could have been price matched, which they ALWAYS have in stock were suspiciously not there, however, the shelf tags were. I have a feeling if I go back tomorrow (Saturday) that the items in question will most certainly be there, as if by magic!! And the silly twit that rang me up- "Walmart doesn't price match"- rofl- she got schooled by the manager after arguing with me for a couple of minutes. (I ended up pm'ing 3 cd's and a couple of Bratz- saved about 50 dollars).
