Confirming Brad's sentiments - they do run long. As for sizing, your normal size will work, but if you intend to wear several layers, you may need to size up. It's great for spring or autumn walks in the brisk air!

Unfortunately speaking from experience - It's the next couple of months that will be harder than the lead up to the services. Make sure to take time for yourself if you can - people will check in and it will taper off after a while, so do what you need to do to to keep yourself well.

Banana Republic Factory style cash - ugh. You receive it based on what you purchased. The week you can spend it, it's not like Kohl's cash, where it's just money - you have to spend X dollars to get Y off If you had spent $200, you earned up to $100 in Style Cash. But the week you have to spend it, you need to spend another $200 to get the $100 off. Or you could spend 30-50 and get $15 off, and progresses from there. The prices have increased from the period where I bought things to earn the cash, and there's nothing left to really get, so meh. Unspent it is. EDIT: wait, i can convert it to Rewards. I'll do that!

I'll admit I've ordered some things - replaced a hat I bought a few years ago on prime day, but what I was hoping would be on sale didn't go on sale, so i just went ahead and ordered those anyways. Oh well.

I'd like to know why, keyboard manufacturers, you are unable to make a bluetooth, ergonomic keyboard WITHOUT the number pad. The ergo keyboard I have at work has a detachable number pad (makes the overall size smaller) but is wireless and I don't have a USB hub or a dock at home, and I'm already using a dongle that has the one USB slot on it dedicated to my mouse. #firstworldmacbookproblems

Ouch. I almost always get my prime orders in 2 days or less, but that's mostly due to location - the more warehouses near you, the better odds you will get things on time. If you're not getting the prime service, I'd consider cancelling unless you make several small orders that do not meet the free ship minimum.

I realized I also bought a vacuum for my mom, under my brother's name for pickup. Tried to get the Dyson V10 at Costco for 349 but that was gone by the time I remembered to go in to get it (whoops) but got it at Best Buy for 399, same price as the Dyson website, which isn't terrible (and available for pickup!)

Costco has a nice prepared meal (for those looking for smaller options for next year.) Not quite for one, but you can do for one and have leftovers for a while. A turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce. It is available in the refrigerated section the week of Thanksgiving.

Turkey carcass is always made into turkey Chinese-style porridge at my parents house. It’s amazing. No photos, but rich, flavorful, so good.
