I'll be good
-
Yay! I love B&BW... another store to add to the Black Friday list! Thanks for the great coupon :)
-
*cries* DON'T REMIND ME!! I honestly have no idea! I watch my Mum stock up there once every 2 months or so and see the money she saves and argh... Australia needs Costco badly!! That, and ROSS. I think I may hyperventilate from the withdrawl from those two. I'll have to... *gasp* PAY RETAIL!! Oops, forgot to say what I was getting at Costco! I'm checking out the Fox/WB DVD sets, the Planet Sleep pajamas (great quality, cute patterns! I own 3 pairs already) and Mum wants to check out a KitchenAid mixer.
-
Ok... after days and hours (tonight) of mulling over all of the ads, I have a plan of attack! Freddies, OfficeMax, Mervyn's, Costco, Old Navy in that order, starting at 4:45am. Then, if I have time/energy, I'll hit Staples, Circuit City, JC Penney or Target. Oh, and I'm going to use that Border's coupon for the $9.99 Bridget Jones' Diary DVD but that's valid all weekend so I might save it for tomorrow.
-
Bump! Sorry for the new thread, must have missed this one! It's currently a chilly 41 degrees but calm outside for me... brrr. Hoping it warms up just a little!
-
What will the weather be like for you? Here's hoping for clear skies and as warm as possible Here's a good place to check up on the weather: http://www.wunderground.com Right now it's calm out (yes!) but a chilly 41 degrees (that's 5 degrees C for me). BRRR!
-
Oh yeah! 1st place everytime.
-
I'll be there at 4:45am... I know it's only 15 mins before open but it's not like I'm desperate for any doorbusters. I just want to soak it all up and check out the DVDs and calendars.
-
Oh yeah I learnt that one the hard way I think the multi-region player I got for my last birthday was one of the best presents ever! DVDs are so expensive in Australia.
-
Yeah, I quickly ruled out BB after reading about the lines at checkout and before open. No, thanks!
-
LOL Got that right. I was so hoping that the Target TV DVD deals would pan out for me... right shows but wrong seasons. I will tr my luck at Costco.
-
Oooh, free refreshments! I love Freddies. Sounds silly, but we go there so often that I almost want to avoid it on BF. I'd rather go places I've never been before and bask in the insanity Now, whoever offered hot coffee/tea while people stand in line would be hugely popular! I think I've also decided on Fred Meyer and then OfficeMax. Followed by quick stops at Mervyn's, Staples and Circuit City. Is that too ambitious? Heh, maybe, but we'll see. I've decided Sears isn't worth it -- it takes up too much precious shopping time to drive all the way out to Northgate and back.
-
It is definitely overpriced. I'm just too starstruck to care, I guess! Plus their gingerbread lattes are to die for! Conan O'Brien (ooh, another thing I will sorely miss) once commented on Starbucks prices in one of his opening monologues (huge paraphrase ahead): "Starbucks have introduced a brand new training system for employees where they'll spend a whole week in training sessions. Yeah, apparently the first day they learn to make drinks and the other 4 days they learn how to keep a straight face while charging $4 for a cup of coffee!"
-
And don't I love it! *sucks down coffee* The thing I will miss most when I leave for home? Starbucks!!!
-
Maybe it's the caffeine, but can I just say that those dancing bananas are hypnotic?
-
lol That's exactly what I had in mind... I'm trying to work out what the chances are that if I hit Freddies, I'll still be one of the first 200 at Sears.. probably not so good.
-
No rest for the wicked I just called myself and had a great chat! Go ahead, they don't bite (hard)...
-
Sounds good to me... besides, if I go to bed now, there's no guarantee my lazy butt will get itself up when the alarm goes off! *kicks*
-
Me neither!! I think I've narrowed it down to Sears, Mervyn's or Office Max. Do you know how busy Fred Meyer will be? I'm thinking of doing a quick dash because they're so close to home.

I have the ad too... I would type it up but would people really use it this late in the game? :-/ The only thigns I took note of were 2 coupons: Any DVD $14.99 and up -- $4 off Any CD/Music DVD $12.99 or up -- $3 off And all board games are buy 1 get 1 free and 2005 calendars (love my calendars) are 1/2 price.

We don't have a Meijer's... we probably won't leave the house until 4.30am-ish. I'm not brave enough to hit Bestbuy early so we'll head to the tamer stores before lining up for Sears or Mervyn's.
-
I was originally going to sleep but I'm too excited now! I think I'll just stay up and thank my Mum for driving me around with coffee and eggs at 4
-
How late are you up, Ross? *evil laugh*
