When target used to price match I would just hand the add to the cashier. Even if you have to go to customer service, they should be able to pm for you.

I don't think the op is trying to start any controversy. There's always that possibility that the add could have been a fake proof. To me, it seems that the ads getting out leads people getting more excited about the holiday season and then more likely to spend money. Besides, if Walmart wanted to they could send a "cease and disist" letter at any time. It seems only the smaller stores (LNT this year and Office Depot last year) do that.

Was it shipped fedex to your local post office? I hate when companies use this method of shipping. One of my disneyoutlet.com orders almost got sent back because it was shipped to the post office via fedex and the post office "tried" to deliver it, but no one was around to receive it. It stayed on the shelves of the PO until I called looking for it. At first they couldn't find it. But, eventually it was drug out of some corner and finally delivered.

The one on Kingshighway by Chippewa is closed, as well as the one on Lindell up by SLU. The chairs and tables are still there but no one works there any more.

Most if not all Wendy's in St. Louis are shut down.
