  1. I have 4 helpful kitties, a 12yo siberian husky mix and a 7 month old Malmute. I'll be able to wrap when the next time the 5yo crashes for a nap (and the dogs are outside and the cats are in the basement).
  2. Gift cards. Or, go to a Spencer's and get some kind of gag gift.
  3. 5yo dd - hot wheels, old maid and go fish card games, candy, Shark Tales 16o dd - hot wheels, Candy, gift cards. Santa leaves the stockings. Its the first thing they open.
  4. I ordered Thursday morning. Amazon says that the carrier has been notified to pick up shipment.
  5. It's a tradition to get a Penney's snow globe!
  6. My local news did a story on Cyber Monday. They said that people go into work and use the (usually) faster internet connections and buy online on the monday after Thanksgiving.
  7. I'm trying to spend less than last year. So, both kids will get roughly $200 each spent on them. I'll spend ~ $75 on my husband, ~ $50 on my mom. We may splurge and get the kids a PS2, but I'm kinda waiting to see what it gets bundled with, gamewise, before Christmas. My 5yo is done except for a couple of hotwheel cars and play-doh stocking stuffers. This shouldn't be more than $10. My teenager actually went with me to pick out her gifts. I still have ~100 to spend on her but if we get the PS2, I'll get her some games. She may get a BB gift card to round things out. My kids also exchange with 2 of their cousins but we have a $20 limit. Since they are a teenager and a 20-something college student we usually go the gift card/cash route with them. Oh, I almost forgot the teenager's boyfriend. We got some pretty good deals on "Family Guy" dvds. I've spent ~$25 on him.
  8. I didn't go for the "big ticket" items. Can't afford them even at BF prices. But with help from my teenager. . . J.C. Penney's Snow globe (2) skirt - originally marked at $44 got for $6.09 + tx hologram belt the teenager has been drooling over, originally $16 got for $10.08 + tx Target Family Guy DVD (for teenager's boyfriend) $17.88 + tx Shark Tale DVD $5.88 + tx Family Guy DVD (for teenager's boyfriend) 8.88 + tx Barbie Cash register $18.88 + tax GBA Nemo $9.88 + tx GBA Simpsons Road Rage $9.88 + tx Target would NOT price match on the Shark Tales DVD or on a Sims Complete PC game (The cashier put back the Sims game). So. . . . we took a chance and drove 20 minutes to Best Buy. There we got: Sledgehammer TV sitcom DVD $30.99 + tx ($4 cheaper than BestBuy website) Sims Complete PC game $24.99 (it's going for $39.99 at Target) Saved $15 Green Day: Dookie $4.99 Bill Cosby-Himself $9.99 ($3 cheaper than BestBuy website.) I kept the Shark Tales DVD from Target because I don't to back to stores for less than $2 in savings. I also shopped on line at TRU on T-day. Everything was as cheap or cheaper than the BF in store ads and I got free shipping. The teenager even said she had fun. Let me mark this day down in my calender!
  9. Just a touch of frost bite. We waited for 20 minutes in 20 F temps.

    BF at Target

My insiders at Target say they don't price match anymore. That is just rude. I really had no desire to go down to the BB in south St. Louis County. It's a traffic mess every day. Arrrg!
  11. 7 hour specials are not available on line. Bummer.
  12. Anyone in St. Louis hit KMart? I couldn't get motivated this morning and after eating Thanksgiving dinner I just couldn't get up.
  13. My paper from the Walgreens at Kingshighway and Chippewa didn't have a BB ad!!! I feel ripped off. I specifically bought a paper to price match at Target on BF. I have one last chance when my husband takes my mom back up to North County. Hopefully, her paper will have one in it. On BF I'm making my teenager stand in line for me at Target while I get a snowglobe at Penney's. The young handle the cold so much better.
