  1. How about an anniversary Strawberry Shortcake doll for a child of the 80s? http://www.amazon.com/Strawberry-Shortcake-35th-Birthday-Classic/dp/B013KOU70A/ref=sr_1_6?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1445689307&sr=1-6&refinements=p_lbr_characters_browse-bin%3AStrawberry+Shortcake
  2. I couldn't pass up the special deal either. I've shopped a lot more on Amazon over the last year & with Christmas coming up (and with living in the middle of nowhere) it will save me a lot of time & frustration. Plus, the Prime video is a great bonus.
  3. I stood in line for the $98 - 32" tv from Walmart on Black Friday two years ago & despite poor reviews, it's still going strong. This year I'm hoping to pick up something a little smaller for my parents.
  4. My internet went down just as the sale went live. What timing! But now my Infinity 2.0 set is ordered & I can sleep. Happy shopping & happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
  5. Same here. I bought the original Disney Infinity at Walmart's pre-Black Friday sale last year. Would love to pick up 2.0 for my nephew again this year.
  6. Real tree for me! I love the hunt of finding the perfect Christmas tree at the tree farm.
  7. The Coca Cola polar bears remain my favorite since I was a kid, followed closely by the Hershey bells and M&Ms with Santa.
  8. Last year, we went out around 5AM & had most of our shopping done by noon with little to no wait.
  9. I'm still waiting on Joann's, Menards, Bath & Body Works, & Ulta.

    Hobby Lobby

In my experience, Hobby Lobby doesn't run any special sales on Black Friday. I think their weekly ad includes more 50% off categories than usual, and sometimes they have slightly extended hours Thanksgiving weekend. Other than that, it's business as usual. It's always my last stop of the day to pick up discounted wrapping paper & Christmas decorations.

    Ulta

My local Ulta store had a sign posted stating doors would open at 7PM on Thanksgiving.
  13. 1. Target - They have something to prove this year after last year's breach. I think the free shipping deal is just a glimpse at what's to come. 2. Thanksgiving - Online shopping, Black Friday - Brick & mortar shopping 3. 5PM - I think they'll keep doing the staggered sales all the way through Black Friday.
  14. A little bit of both for me! I'll pick up a few of the larger deals online, but I'll shop in store for the rest. I also love shopping in store for deals on new Christmas decorations, cards, & gift wrap.
  15. Personally, I'm against it. I'm all about scoring a deal, but on Thanksgiving- my focus is on family & friends. And eating a coma inducing amount of food. Like many others, I'll probably shop online when I can catch a break from the festivities.
  16. I always spend Black Friday shopping with my mom. We've tried bringing others with us, but they just slow us down.
  17. The Rudolph television special has always been one of my favorites since I was a kid too. USPS has a special set of Rudolph stamps being released next month. I can't wait to pick up a few books of those for Christmas cards!
  18. I shop Black Friday with my mom, so it's inevitable that she has me pick out a Christmas gift for myself. Other than that, sometimes I'l take advantage of the good deal on household items for myself & I almost always purchase a new movie or two.
  19. I checked a few people off of my list with the Target toy clearance too. Black Friday weekend accounts for maybe 50% of my Christmas shopping overall. The rest is done here & there when I find another good deal.
