  1. Count me in for Switch game deals & maybe some AirPods
  2. I submitted my order & it just kept spinning until finally a screen came up saying the order couldn’t be completed because of the payment method. I tried to fix it but then it sent me back to the queue. 20 minutes later, I’m still in the queue & an order confirmation comes thru my email. A far better experience than the TS ticket debacle but still annoying.
  3. https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Macaron-Macaroon-Nonstick-coupler/dp/B07PJ26CGX/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Macaron+Kit&qid=1602648959&sr=8-3 This baking kit would be a great gift for your favorite home chef!
  4. Thank you for sharing! This worked for me too.
  5. Christmas Vacation & A Christmas Story are definitely my favorites. I also have several older movies & Christmas tv specials that I hold a special affinity for simply because they bring me back to my childhood - Garfield’s Christmas, A Chipmunk Christmas, & The Christmas Gift (with John Denver) among others.
  6. I think books are a great gift idea for all ages. Here’s my most recent read that I’d recommend for young women - https://www.amazon.com/Remember-God-Annie-F-Downs/dp/1433646897/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540311906&sr=8-1&keywords=annie+downs
  7. Both for me! I'll shop doorbusters online & head out to the stores on Friday. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  8. Walmart is the only grocery left in my small town, so I saved a lot more price matching store ads from neighboring towns than I do with the savings catcher app. Couple that with my local Walmart always having higher prices on things like milk/eggs/bread than even neighboring Walmart stores & it's always poorly stocked- now I grocery shop out of town when running other errands. Who do you shop with?

I've shopped for years with just my mom. My sister tagged along a couple of years ago & swore never again. I think it was the long checkout lines that really did her in. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  10. There are so many great recipes here! This is my easy & go-to recipe for Christmas morning- Breakfast Casserole 6 eggs 1 cup milk 1 cup Bisquick 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked & cooled 1 cup of shredded cheese Salt & pepper to your liking Mix together & pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Store in fridge overnight. Bake at 350 for 40 mins or until eggs are set. My favorite part of this recipe is that I can put it together the day before & put it right in the oven to bake while presents are being opened. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  11. Those Big One pillows & throws always find a way in my cart each year as well. I've also picked up gingerbread house kits for the last few years from Michaels or Joanns on Black Friday. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  12. I like to go to the tree farm the first weekend in December. It's not as busy & the employees have their opening weekend "rehearsal" out of the way. All of the other Christmas decorations are brought out Thanksgiving weekend.
  13. The traditional Thanksgiving meal is one of my favorites. I'd eat it year round if I could. We stick to a fairly traditional menu as well with whatever funky recipes catch our attention on Pinterest that year. Turkey Sage dressing My nephew's green bean casserole Pioneer Woman's sweet potato casserole Mom's cauliflower salad Rolls served with homemade cranberry butter Mrs. Wick's sugar cream pie Pumpkin roll
  14. I think stores will avoid official releases on Election Day, but I wouldn't be surprised to see several shortly thereafter when tired eyes are ready for something besides post election coverage.
  15. I always shop Black Friday with my mom. We make a good no-fuss shopping pair. We brought a friend along once & even though they made for good company, we never invited anyone else along. It's been just the two of us ever since.
  16. Looks like this week last year there were quite a few ads leaked. Can't wait to see what the upcoming days bring!
  17. My mom & I are in the limited bunch of people who still leave the house early Friday morning to shop. I hit up all of the Thanksgiving online sales now for the big ticket items we want, take a nap, & then head into a neighboring town early Friday. By that time, most of the stores are cleaning up after the big rush & we still score a ton of deals thanks to those who stash or change their minds. We always eat lunch at our favorite restaurant in that town & head home to hide the goods.
  18. Early 2000s for me, I think my first time waiting in line was 2002.
  19. These have been all over YouTube lately. My nephew would love one (& I'd love to test it out too). I wish I would have made it to that covered bridge festival to see them up close.
  20. Once we make it past Halloween, I wait for the ads & secret sales to start rolling in.
