I figure as I don't have a GC nor do I have any money left, I will stick to my philosophy and never step foot in KM. The one here is sooooooo expensive, dirty, rude and never has any of their sale items in stock, I decided long ago to skip them altogether.

my 16 year old stepdaughter just asked for books or money to buy books. I think we ended up with about a dozen things wrapped. she's getting excited for sunday and she's only seen one present under the tree (about a 4x4x3 box). the rest aren't even out yet. she'll flip when she sees it all.

I don't mind not having snow, I prefer not having it. I just don't like the cold here either. That is one thing I definately miss about texas. My first year there it was like in the 40s or 50s on day and i was walking around in shorts and a tshirt. other people were walking around in heavy winter parkas. i was looking at the like they were crazy and they were doing the same to me.

tomorrow: high of 44, light wind, sunny Christmas day: high of 46, partly cloudy, 20% chance of precip no white christmas here (which is pretty sad considering i'm in CO!)

I got groceries while I was getting all my other deals too and I think I now have enough food to last until the new year. (especially with the 17.5 lb ham my work gave me and the 14.5 lb one we bought)

ours is set around 65. but then our house doesn't get below like 69-70 so the gas heat doesn't kick on.

mine used to 'help' also, and I miss them dearly. ex told me that if I didn't take them I could never take them, then two years later gave them to the animal shelter cause new gf decided she didn't like them anymore.

Been done since the day after thanksgiving. Even had everything wrapped and under the tree by Nov 27th!! I've had so much free time this year, I don't know what to do with myself.

aromatherapy candles, desktop waterfall thingy, one hour massage (i loved mine during finals week), handwritten card for a day shopping/lunching/etc with you.....not really sure about stuff like this as I don't buy my family gifts. I've been told I'm not a 'real' part of the family. I figured if i wasn't part of the family, why should I spend my money on them.

kazaa is full of worms and viruses. Limewire restricts some of the mp3's on how you can use them....such as mp3 player is okay, but not to burn to cd. I use morpheus since the shutdown of winmx.

We are always saying the same thing and then forgetting. I know my man would like something like that.

Don't use DHL, they really suck. We were supposed to get an overnight AM delivery.....it got here 5 days after it was supposed to right before closing time. Of course UPS isn't much better, they left a package of mine in PA overnight, and again left overnight in IL delaying it by two days.

We would get all the family together and have tacos (was very easy to fix: cook meat, cut veggies, eat) for about 30 or so family members. Then we would each get to open one gift. The rest was opened christmas morning.

oh yeah, and price match at WM on a wireless router. It was supposed to be the 49.99 matched for 39.99 but I accidentally grabbed the 79.99 router with speedbooster and got it for 39.99!

Everything has been wrapped since the weekend after Thanksgiving! I'm so far ahead of where I've been in previous years I don't know what to do with myself.

This is the first year I've bought anything online for Christmas (not first time ever though, shop online all the time) and it has turned out to be a horrible experience. I preordered an item in November for a Dec release. Date came and went, no order shipped. Company finally shipped it 8 days later, was supposed to get it today or monday. That was before UPS screwed it up. They left the package in PA for an extra day, delaying delivery until the 20. Then it was late getting into IL, delaying it another day. If I don't get the item I ordered in November until after Christmas, I'm going to be on big B**CH to the company and to UPS.

We found the DVD collection she's been wanting, preordered it from DVDEmpire.com, release date came and went, not shipped. I talked to them every day, the finally shipped it the 13th, was supposed to be here either today or monday. UPS left it at one of their stations in PA delaying it a day, then it was late getting into IL and got delayed another day. If it gets delayed any more I'm going to be one big B**CH with UPS.

We have Scene It DVD and the sequel pack. We take it over to a friend's house about once a week because us 3 and the 4 of them love to play it. Got Harry Potter Scene it for christmas. We just got sorry card revenge and they like that alot, it's kinda like uno attack. Both fiance and daughter like playing life too.

Normally they will only pricematch up to 50 miles (company policy) but as with every place it is up to management or if you get a nice cashier, it's up to them.

I don't think I ever believed in Santa. Until I was like 5 I didn't even get presents for christmas, and by the time I was placed into foster care and adopted, the boys at that house were like 10, 15, and 16 so they already knew.

I had an empty monitor box in my closet, some went inside it. The others are just in a large cereal case box in my closet. Stepdaughter is convinced they are at our storage unit though, but that's because we gave her that idea. She was helping move stuff to the storage and I all of the sudden said 'OH! you have to wait by the car, you can't see what's in there!' She bought it. hehe

damn, with shipping, tax, and nonmember charge $377.57 got it at walmart.com for 376.38 plus shipping, and I remembered a friend's mom works there and she'll let me use her discount so i can get it for about 345 shipped. thanks for the help though

When I was in my hometown (500 people, everyone knows everyone else) we would gift the mail person, but now I don't even know who my mail person is so i wouldn't know who to even address it to anyway.
