  1. I would what the above poster said. Walmarts don't usually adjust per other Walmarts (still don't understand why). So go to the store with the cheaper price and take care of it there
  2. I was at mine the other day and same ole toys there and tons of BF ones too. No real markdowns to get excited about.
  3. I had the fly through Spanish game through the fly pen in my cart, but its $8.95 shipping and w/ tax it cost a tad too much. Wish the shipping was lower.
  4. My TRU had the notebooks of paper (8.5x10) for $7. Bought the last two Had the fly backpacks for clearance for $19.98 (passed though) Bought 2 of the 3 ink refills Batman and baseball games for Flypen for $9.98 Didn't have any games. All gone though. I wanted the fly games one and/or x-game one. All well.
  5. My Walmart also has the darth vador masks for $10, V-smiles for $30, and doodle bears for $10. Several dora and spongbob combos too for $79
  6. Super and creative idea! Not dumb in the least. Your kids will love it and remember it fondly
  7. My husband already got one of his gifts. I bought him a pair of new FUBU athletic shoes. I had them hidden and yesterday he said he has to go out to buy a new pair of shoes because his old ones had a tear in the bottoms. He actually had his jacket on, so the smart butt I am went to the tree and pulled out the one box. I told him "Merry Christmas". lol.

    Bratz Dolls

My daughter is 6 and she has loved Bratz since they came out. I don't think they are inappropriate. Not in the least.
  9. Well, I got it. LOL. Walmart price matched w/ no problem. Now I think I will buy the flyPen bundle for my son for next christmas. lol. Only $69 w/ free shipping at amazon. My TRU has all the accessories on clearance. That will be store in the house. He saw it the other day for the first time (not sure where hes been that he never heard of it) but he LOVES things like this. I was just waiting for a good sale to get it. Im all for learning things. Im sure when hes done with it, my daughter could use it too. Thanks all. I stock up for next christmas at Walmart too. Gift sets, makeup sets, cologne, etc. From buying things like that last after christmas sales, I didn't have to buy one birthday gift this past year and my daughter went to 5 parties! I just started doubting myself when my husband was ragging on me. lol. I just figured if we have the money now (giftcards too) and the storage then why not. My husband just got a great bonus check so I wanted to get a jump on things. You just never know what kind of situation you'll be in every year come the holidays. (good thing is we have plenty left over to do this and pay my medical bills). They came first and foremost.
  10. Mine still has the Dora ones and SpongBob for $79
  11. I voted for the elliptical machine. I'd grab that for $100. Hope I get chosen to buy that
  12. tree and all decorations are up. Gifts are now all wrapped. Stockings even stuffed and ready (yes Im on top of things this year). Cookies will be made a couple days before christmas, but sugar cookie stuff bought and so are the sprinkles. So yes Im ready!
  13. I'll be more excited by next week. Thats when all the school christmas programs are. That gets me into the spirit (seeing my kids perform on stage).
  14. Well I wrapped ALL my kids gifts this past week and saw I bought WAY too much. I actually pulled a few gifts to save for my daughters birthday in a few months (yes my buying was overboard. lol but at least her birthday is done now.). Anyway, Target has the Slurpee machine for only $16.99. That is super cheap and my daughter really wanted this. I can't really give it to her for christams as I already had to pull some gifts. Would this be ok if I bought this now and stored till next christmas? I have a Walmart $100 GC from my father-in-law ( so I would price match at Walmart) and the room to store. I know this is something she would want next year too. A lot of times I buy items at the after christmas sales for the following christmas. Such as cologne sets and kids makeup. I just figured if I have the means and storage and the price is right, maybe I should just buy it now and save it. Does anyone else do this? I told my husband and he said I was nuts to even think about next years christmas. lol. Im not nuts am I???!!!
  15. Everything is pretty much done. On top of everything this year. Tree and all decorations up on Thanksgiving. Gifts all wrapped this past week. So just waiting for the big day now. (even bought all my cookie sprinkles already and cookie dough mix)
  16. Congrats. Thats one MAJOR deal find
  17. Mine still has the V-Smiles (about 30) of them. They are in the clearance toy aisle.
  18. I know my nieces are getting the Little Mermaid bedding. My parents found the sheets, comforter, and pillows at Kmart.
  19. I was in my Walmart on Friday and mine still had about 30 V-Smiles from BF. All still priced at $30
  20. I put the dogs' presents under the tree (haha) and the presents to my husband. (from my, one from my son, and the other from my daughter). I just love to see them under the tree. I probably should have waited, but in the spirit today!
  21. I saw them at Target. So check there first.
  22. I wasn't impressed. No great deals. I can see why I read in my paper tonight that Walmart is down in sales where as Target is sky rocketing.
  23. I think I've been to Wendy's 2 or 3 times. Never go there.
  24. This is the retail store I used to work at. They always let us shop before the store was opened to the public. When clearances were coming, they would let us know what items were being marked down next to nothing and (Im guilty too) we would buy it all. Rarely did the customers see the low clearance stuff (I mean GOOD items). In my defense, I didn't see the great stuff as managers always bought it. I'd see them leaving with all this stuff. They would show me their receipt and brag about getting the deals. Yet another reason Im so glad to be out of that place. (miss the deals though :))
  25. Well I have 125 credits. I redeemed 50 of them tonight. No charge at all and Im happy about that. Still have 75 though. Never will redeem all by December 31. I'll take a bunch more pics on Christmas then redeem another 50 maybe. I may have 25 for someone to redeem if interested. I'll know by Christmas day (depends how crazy I am taking pics)
