I just go because all Christmas items (gift sets, etc) are 50% off. I actually buy a lot of the cologne sets and perfume sets for gifts the following year.

Thanks. I had went the last couple of years at 8am or so and it seems ALL the really good scents are gone. I love Curve for my husband and son. I want a few perfume sets for myself too. My one Walmart is stocked full of them so want to get them as soon as the 50% starts. Great gifts to put away

I still have the 2 pack I bought for $5 for my son last BF at Walmart. LOL. He never played with them nor touched the package. Guess my nephew will be getting it for his birthday

WHAT time 12/26 does Walmart's 50% off all christmas start? I never go early enough and all the really good cologne and perfume sets are gone. I have 2 24 hour Walmarts so not sure what time I should go. Want to be one of the firsts to stock up!

I was at JC Penny's today and they had the Polo jeans for my son (he wears mens) clearanced for $14.99. WOW. Tons of clothing for under $24.99 too. The gift sets are 50% off (shower radio, hankerchiefs, trimmers, sports coolers, etc.) Also, They have a NFL licensed football shaped universal remote for only $12.99 down from $30. I bought one for my son as hes getting a new tv for his room. (sign said $14.99 but rang up $12.99)

I love reading the stories on here after my post! It really is so fullfilling to help out a family. This is only the 2nd time I got to see the family I adopted. I knew already who they were as they go to my church. I just didn't know how bad things were for them. I wish I was a fly on the wall to see the girls open the gifts. Im sure I'll hear about it at church on Christmas! Cannot wait. I bought each girl a winter coat and hat/glove set in addition to toys. I figured I buy the toys, but wanted to get them neccessities too.

I've noticed this too. Luckily I just bought items this year when I saw them. Price Matched if they had them at a cheaper price. Yesterday I was at Walmart and the toy shelves are literally empty in some areas. Even board games that are usually sitting there (common ones) are gone. Its crazy this year

Well tonight I made the trip to my church to turn in all my presents to my adoptive family. I also gave stockings filled with tons of goodies. My kids helped me carry it all in. The mother of the 2 girls was there to pick it all up. She was so appreciative it made me cry. I just feel so bad shes in the situation she is in. No husband nor is he giving child support. He skipped town. I slipped her an extra GC I got from my aunt. Im sure she wouldn't mind (my aunt that is). It was just a $25 GC to a nearby restaurant. I told her to take the girls out christmas eve. Im just so happy Santa will come for the girls on christmas. They are pretty young so I hope I picked out the right presents. My church provides dinner for them also. (I donated some dinner items too). It was funny as the woman drove a super small car and obviously like my own kids I over bought. LOL. I barely got everything in. All day I've had the biggest smile on my face. I just hope more people do this next christmas. I know I will. This is my 4th year going strong and love it alittle more everytime.

Get a large round platter. Line with leafy green lettuce or foil, roll the meats around the platter. I use black olives and green olives for presentation or in the middle put spicy mustard for dipping. I also like to buy hot pepper cheese. Great with the meats you are having

My neighbor has deer like that in his front yard. My husband took his bow gun and put an arrow in one of them. LOL. He said the way his hunting is going this year, that was the only buck he would shoot this year.
