  1. I got the Thomas Obrien Green leaf plates and salad plates too!!!! Same price!

I have to look at my receipts (yes 2, 2 different targets!) to see what else I got, It was quite a whirlwind!!

Oh and my rant for the day? How the heck can two targets within 20 miles of each other have such varying clearance prices? For example Target A- Dora bed for the Dress up Dora $4.98, Target B- same item $13.98, and I scanned it and thats what it came up! Thank goodness I bought it at target A!!!!!

is one in a smaller market? is one a super target and the other regular target?

  2. Toys here are stubbornly staying at 30% at all of the targets I have visited!

Sign says 30% but some of the stickers are at 50%...however on this one thing I am watching, I really want to get more off...

90% off at my Target today but only wrapping paper, shirts and boxers w/christmas sayings, some cards, stockings, card holders, and tree stands....only one tree and it was uuuuuuuuuuug- ly! anyway, some of the garden stuff from last year is out and 50% off I believe....mainly like gloves, some hand tools and cushion kneelers.....and some bug sprays...

Did you see the New India inspired things they put out? Cute

  3. Thanks for the links... I always forget to check E-bay...

The Bulb I am looking for is a 25R14N, I think... it has a flatter top than these flood light bulbs. I am afraid we're going to have to win another lamp at Chuck E Cheese just for the replacement bulb :)

    Thanks again,

    Joanne

Hi, I havent checked specifics for you but our mall has a place called Spencers, they have lavalamps, black lights maybe they have replacements..

  4. i cant believe how many people have viewed this thread!

Anyway, I talked to a Target Employee today and asked about the goodwill thing. she said that she use to see the stuff show up at her local goodwill but she thought she heard that they are sending stuff to a distribution center now. not sure if it goodwill dist. center or not. Said that the back room people know more. She hasnt worked back in that area for a while...

  5. LMAO! That is my youngest daughter Jessica. She'll be 5 January 7. She was clowning around with some girly kit she got from a store that had makeup and the mascarade mask.

Sorry it freaked you out! I personally think it is adorable!

Well to me it looks like an older woman with a wide smile but I think it is the combo of the teardrop eyes that are set far part with the wide smile and the poofy things......

I wasnt trying to be hurtful, I just noticed that picture come up alot .....My regular face would freak some people out ;)

  6. Went to target today. Still have Christmas at 75%.Not too much there. Dollar spot is all the Valentines stuff ( regular price) but got a few things for the kids for school. Clearance toys weren't any great bargain. I did score with a beaded throw that I had my eye on originally $39.99 now $9.99. was in with the regular stuff not marked down but when i was there just after Christmas it was $19.99 and I was hoping i would get it at 75%.

went to Target today in Orange Park and they have moved the toys close to the christmas clearance. Many of them were marked at 50% off. There is a cute Crayola desk that is now $12 something. but it takes up one full aisle on both sides in my store. And there is about 2 aisles left of christmas. Mainly christmas cards, lighted garland, tree stands, a few small bags. All at 75% off. One find I was happy with was a stainless steel Buffett. Now I havent opened it but I saw the same design at jcpenney and dillards I think for about 60.00 with 30% off last week. I got it for $6.24 and there were about 25 or so left.

Here is a great site to go to. Some times you can find great deals on where others have gone before. There are many threads on where to stay an go as well...

here is something I found for you on the above website...

    1.Saving money using non-USA websites

In planning our upcoming trip to Europe, we have found that using European travel sites gets us much better rates on the same hotel and the very same air flight. An example is a planned flight from Edinburgh, Scotland to Amsterdam. Via US travel sites, the least expensive was 637 USD per person and the SAME flight using the UK/Ireland Yahoo travel was approx. 450 USD for the TWO of us. Something to consider.

    2. Use a price-compare website like BookingBuddy.com, a sister site to SmarterTravel.com, to compare prices on airfare, hotels, vacations, or cars.

    good luck!

  8. Jacksonville FL Target had 75 off on Dec 31st...NOt much left in the super stores...Although a smaller store in Orange Park had a little more. Mainly that Choxie chocolate ......which after mark down should be anywhere from 1.50 to about 4.00 each now....Plenty of wrapping paper some trees, plenty of christmas cards, Lots of toys at 30% off on REGULAR shelves! I noticed alot of things marked down on regular aisles.....so I cruised the whole store tonight. I am not much of a new years eve girl! We have all had this cough, fever and sinus thing so I had to get OUT>>>> Anyway, there are tons more signs all over the store so it is more like a treasure hunt ! Good luck and keep me posted if anyone sees diapers on sale! my store had size one's marked down $3 but that wasnt a really good deal...........
  9. seems that thankfully it was an exact swap. Meaning the woman got my stuff and i got hers as opposed to several people getting their orders wrong. I am not very impressed so far, when I called yesterday there was a voicemail saying that they would be closed Monday plus all the other christmas dates and if the voice mail was on it must be afterhours and please leave a message. So i do and no one calls back....but it wasnt after hours at all! it was 3 pm eastern so noon pacific....maybe they were at lunch but i cant imagine a company that supposedly services a large professional clientelle would close for lunch....who knows!
