  1. I am not sure exactly what deals they have on BF but the day after BF (Sat, Nov 25th) they always give a shopping bag and everything you can stuff in the shopping bag gets 25% off. I think they limit you to 1 watch and 1 perfume...OR if you are wanting 1 big item, they will give you 25% off of that 1 item. It says it is for the first 500 customers... I always see more than 500 bags! REALLY nice because you can take your time since it is Saturday and not BF!!! Especially if you are getting LOTS of small items to fit into the bag.

That sounds pretty cool! I don't live by one but my mom does. May have to make a trip out to mom's the next day if I have any energy left. It's a 3 hour drive. Gives me a good excuse to visit her and we are both shopaholics! Thanks for the info.

  2. Thanks for the replies so far. I agree that I certainly would not want to take an ISP sign up rebate. Right now, I think I've got my eyes set on the emachine at BB. I wonder what CC will do. (The wait is killing me!)

The emachines that BB has is almost identical to the one they sold last year for 149.00. Main difference is the lcd monitor. So far ours are working well. So that's not a bad price at all for that cp. What makes it better is no rebates. I'm so bad at remembering to send them off! :giggle:

Good luck finding what ya need!

  3. We always think that our minds are made up early. But we always end up changing our minds at the last minute. Sitting eating dinner and still looking over the ads to make sure we haven't missed something that we "just have to have"! Last year one of us ended up at a store that we didn't even think we were going too. Lol! So far looking at what we've seen in the ads here. We don't know yet.
  4. When we are all finished, we stop off at MD's for breakfast sandwiches and head home with them. If we are out for too long of a time, we eat them in between stores then stop again for those that we left home so we can feed them.

I'm with the one other poster.. gotta have that chocolate!! :D

  5. You also need to make sure that what you are PM at WM from BB, is a brand that WM carry's.. most stores carry their own brand or certain name brands.. for example.. tv's WM has symphonic and BB does not. It's just an example, I'm not sure if they carry that one anymore. I do know they have lots of stuff that is durabrand. (WM that is) Ya might wanna stay away from the stereo's like this. As we got a cd changer one last year for our daughter. It would take in the cd.. not play it and not give it back either! We exchanged it, and got the same problem so we ended up buying a more expensive brand after that.

Another example from BB is insignia. WM does not carry that brand. Basically just check to make sure WM carry's those electronics if that's what you are PM. Now if it's movies etc., then you should be ok. Hope this helped out and didn't confuse you! :D

  6. DH and I have come to the conclusion that this game was thought up by a group of bored drunk frat boys. But you can use the little plastic party cups like the ones you can get from walmart for like $3 and they work just as well.

:rotflol: yeah once they got tired of beer pong.. they played with the glasses this way

    too funny!

No offense to the poster asking for help here. But this post just cracked me up!

  7. Mine tell me what they want and I write it down. It increases as time goes by. Usually starts with 10 or so items and goes from there. lol

Isn't it funny how things keep changing over and over again? Mine tend to add things to theirs also. There are times when I say.. ok one or the other.. there's a limit to what we can spend on each child. We just try to keep it fair with our 4 kids. And spend equal amounts on them all. But I love it how they keep tryin to add all the time. :D

  8. Funny you should mention this. We did an interesting thing this year. My husband is overseas with the Army, and my family is 3 states away. So I have had to do the shopping with the kids in toe. My daughter is only 0 months old so that is no big deal. However, my son will be 4 this month.

I devised an interesting method to do the Christmas shopping. We went shopping and I told my son we were putting stuff in the cart that he wants for Christmas and then we were taking them to a special counter. The lady at the counter would scan the items and then give us a print out of everything he wants so we can write the letter to Santa and be sure to include exactly what he wants. :)

It worked perfectly. He was not upset that we did not buy anything and he is sure that Santa knows what he really wants for Christmas :)

That sounds like a cute way to do it. Congrats on the new baby also!:gdthums:

  9. Just wondering how everyone that has kids.. how do they do their lists?

Mine used to write it out on paper, over and over again.

Now they resort to email. They are now even copying pasting pics and links and emailing them to me and hubby. Man how times have changed.

  11. I'm in northwest Indiana, all it says for us is average low is 32. We should be so lucky to have it that warm in the middle of the night! Also it said record low is 1 degree.. I think they need to recheck that since it was -11 last year. Lol!
  12. I get excited every year at this time. Bad thing is when my summer job ends, this is what we start talking about. Crazy huh? Then as the ads pour in, it gets crazier for me. I can't wait to shop and see what we end up with!
  13. One Walgreens near us never got the ones for the hands in, they only got the ones for the feet and I think they are 2/1.29 or something like that. I did pick up a couple of those but for my main part of my body I use the Therma Care Heat wraps. Those work great!

I will check on those too. I've used the Therma care wraps for back aches before. They work pretty good. Never thought to use them to keep warm.

    Thanks!

  14. I personally start out without one. Harder then you know what to get through all those crowds. But, eventually I get one or send someone to get one for me. Now if I'm alone in a particular year.. I'm in trouble..lol!
