Parking is expensive in NYC so I would advise against taking your car - plus it is not an easy city to navigate if you don't know your way around. I'd stick to cabs or walking.

Well with the Walmart site, it shows in stock - not gte dlvry by christmas tho. But the problem I have is that I can't figure out if the system is OOS or the games I'm trying to get with it are OOS oh well .. my kids know better to think that I would actually get them something kewl for Christmas - lol

I paid $65 for a 7 foot tree. Tree was cut on Thursday and in my house on Sunday - now that's a fresh tree. It's a family run business, who always treat this cash poor single mom right. I live in North Carolina where the majority of trees come from if you are on the east coast!

Don't even get me started on Walmart pricing. I picked up a Video Now disc at one Walmart on sale and found out that my friend was sending it to my daughter for Christmas. Went to another Walmart to exchange it - and they didn't have it on sale. I told them that I had bought the item less than 1/2 hour ago and I was advised that they do not honor other Walmart prices. HUH? They will PM other retailers but not their own store ???? I had to ask to speak to a mgr .. and because I had just bought the item that day .. they honored the price on the exchange. One of the reasons I do not like shopping @ Wallyworld.

I found the restrictions printed right underneath the cost of the certificate on the website. I had a few restaurants in my area, but none I frequent. At least they tell you in advance what you can and cannot do.

I think that the B&W players will only play the B&W discs .. which you can't find now. Check your local TRU if you want the media thingy .. both of mine got some in yesterday.

I went to TRU today and found more than I have ever seen in one store .. disc and accessories. Apparently, the stores I have been in have the displays in 2 different areas. The one in the front of the store is wiped out .. the other display in the electronics part has way more stuff. I was able to get the car converter, the headphones, 7 different discs and the media kit thingy. Woohoo!

Walmart has lots of the VideoNow PVDs titles online with the 97 cent shipping.

I price adjusted some of the VideoNow discs I had bought on Dec 2nd. They gave me no problems, asked no questions, just credited my credit card back the price. Saved me over $8.00!

My kids respect my "you peek it goes back" rule. I usually put things under my bed or in an empty suitcase!

Well they are not giving rainchecks on the PVDs, BUT they did adjust the prices I paid for the PVDs I had bought back when the TRU deal for the player was $14.99. So I ended up getting back 1/2 on all the discs I bought! My store was wiped out tho .. so is their website ..

Don't forget that TRU will give you rainchecks. I'm hoping that they will be getting more in next week.

If I remember, they charge a flat $5.00 for shipping. Right now they are doing free shipping on orders over $25.00. They also have a free gift on purchases over $20.00. They will do gift wrapping on orders over $10.00 but they do NOT allow returns. Good to know they carry this brand at Target as was looking for some inexpensive makeup for my 14 year old niece.

But 1/2 price at Kohls is usually what other retailers sell their products for everyday.
