  1. My Walmart hasn't marked the Febreze as clearance but it scans cheap! It is candles, air fresheners and sprays in vanilla, cranberry and pine I think. Items were ringing from 0.67 to 1.37 I think... close to those numbers anyways.
  2. If they don't have any left at the store you buy a 1 hour guarantee gift card, making sure the amount on it is enough to purchase the item including tax. Then you register the card online and they ship the item to you. That is how it was last year at least, assuming it is the same.
  3. A good cinnamon swirl bread is my favorite. I always add a bit of vanilla extract to the egg mix. Springing for real maple syrup can elevate any breakfast as well.
  4. The phone you are looking for has droppped to $199 right now direct from virgin. http://www.virginmobileusa.com/shop/cell-phones/
  5. I had the 32" TV but passed because it seems to only have 1 hdmi from the quick info I was able to find.
  6. Last few years VM website has done a Cyber Monday with lots of phones 1/2 price that day. And FYI they are getting the Galaxy S2 on nov 15 for 379. My nephew switched which phone he wanted after hearing that. Gonna kill me to lose the grandfathered 25 buck plan for upgrading.
  7. Shopko right now has the Mr. Coffee machine made for Keurig for 79.99 and you get a $10 gift card with purchase. The flyer I got also has a 10 off 40 purchase coupon (code HOLIDAY40 online) so it would be like paying $60.
  8. I have a Henckels Twin Pro S set and have been really pleased with them. With Henckels you want to look for the two guys on the block as opposed to one on the budget/cheaper/lower quality knives. I have also heard great things about Shun. Mundial is a little cheaper brand that I have also heard good things about. If you want a more affordable set Forschner Victorinox are very sharp and nice (from the folks who make swiss army blades I believe). They do have a cheaper feeling handle but the blades are nice. I have the steak knives of those because I couldn't talk myself into $300 to match my other knives. You can find all these on Amazon.
  9. I would look into pots/pans/spatula type stuff, a good knife set, vacuum, plush towels, rugs, kitchen aid mixer or decorative things like nice picture frames.
  10. I think the reason Kindle Fire owners are claiming that they will be virus free is because the apps all come from Amazon so they are screened. Apple is the same way although I think I have read of something being available for a short time before. I think that Android Marketplace is more open and easier to have an app approved for sale so more likely to have malicious apps. I know I have read somewhere that there have been quite a few on there until they figure it out and pull them. So I think a big part of it is where you get your apps and how much you trust the developers.
  11. If she lives on a farm in a cold climate and does farm work, maybe a Carhartt coat? They are really great for that and a sale could fit your budget.

    iPad2

Apple stores and apple.com will be discounts of $41-61 depending on what model.
  13. I read last year that the apple website did $41 off on ipads. Still waiting on an announcement of what they will be this year...I need two so hoping for a decent deal!
  14. EA is a video game company. Will be interesting to see what these end up being!
  15. Last year Amazon kept running deals that matched stores BF prices right around BF...I recommend waiting it out for them to drop to match advertised prices on Thanksgiving and BF if you can keep checking the site.
  16. A couple years ago I bought a 360 online with a bonus gift card during a pre bf sale. If I remember correctly they emailed me a code that was for walmart.com after it had shipped. So you would probably get an e-giftcard if its the same still.
  17. If her neck likes heat I have some of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Instant-Click-Heat-Helios-Reusable-Neck-Shoulder-Pad-/260722819749?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb44a82a5#ht_1849wt_1141 We have the big neck and little one also. We keep them in the fridge so when you pull it out to use it is cold therapy and after a few minutes you 'click it' and it is a heat pad. After some time it gets hard and you simply put it in a pot of boiling water for a bit then reuse it.
  18. My new Target flyer for tomorrow has the 4gb system for 199 with a $50 gift card.
  19. I do agree that they are very similar. However, the android tablets that compare to ipads in quality are also pretty comparable in price imho. The cheap ones you see are just that, cheap. The touch screens are going to be of lesser quality, they will be running old versions of android, etc. Make sure you read reviews and compare models. I think that there are some very good android tablets out there, but there is a lot of garbage also.
  20. I would vote ipod at that age. When they take them with everywhere an ipod slips into a pocket and a tablet gets set down and possibly forgotten.
  21. I dont have a HE machine but I love this from Biokleen. It is 1 oz per load for a regular machine and says use 1/2 for HE, I wait for a free shipping on $25 order email and feel it is a great value. Only problem is you can only get 2 at a time or the order gets too heavy for free shipping.
  22. I do a taco bar. Started as a bit of a joke a few years ago and has stuck as 'our thing'.
  23. I use a TrendNet wireless adapter I paid $40 for the first one and got the second for $25. We use them for a 360 and our Dish Network box, no issues and really easy to program for your network on a pc. Newegg also carries them.
