I saw an XBox 360 on eBay w/RROD and it went for $20. There are some folks making money on fixing them. Apparently a solder joint breaks down over time. Wonder if you could put a laptop cooling pad under one to keep it from happening?

They are refusing to use the coupon code, over the phone saying that it was pulled at 10:30. The CSR stated that "expires on 11/30" means that it isn't good on 11/30. Yeah, right! Whatever! Bait and switch or a tease, whatever you want to call it.....

Not that I can afford to buy one BUT I tried it about 9:30 EST and it was showing as $599, but it had XP Media Center. Now it is showing as $499 with XP home. Good Deal! :)

Fry's Indianapolis also runs an ad in Monday's paper, each week but I love the big Friday "wishbook" as my wife says how I view it. Today's was a one-day only sale. Would have loved that Compaq notebook for $378. Indy area residents got screwed-over by Staples - we weren't offered the $399 notebook there.
