I was told at my newspaper that Target didn't have enough printed, so it was hit or miss whether you actually got the sales flyer or not.

TRU won't do price adjustments on BF until after 1 p.m. and then you can't get the sale price.

What's worse is TRU manager and employees here had no clue there even was a 5 a.m. sale, and this is Tuesday before BF!!

Is it comparable to an iPod?

I'd go with the Leapster. Have had both systems and there are more games available for the leapster. The V-Smile games also got old very quickly, whereas the Leapster games had more levels and different things to do.

Yes, I agree. Even with only 3 kids (6-15), without BF, they wouldn't be able to get the electronic gifts that they request from Santa without breaking the bank.

About a week or so ago, my Kmart had candy canes for 10 cents a box.

Do you have Amazon Prime? Or did you just use the free super saver shipping? I ordered 1 on Dec. 5 and it shipped Dec. 10 and still not here. Ordered another 1 on Dec. 11 and still not shipped out. I just used super saver shipping.

When I was at Gamestop on BF, I was told they would have no other sales on Wii accessories before Christmas.

Oh wow! Went to Walmart today to check on their camcorder bags with bonus DVDs that they never got for BF. They had that now and when I was checking out, another cashier comes up and says she found an 8" portable dvd player that was still coming up at $49. I about got crushed to get one of these on BF for my 13-yr-old ds, so I snatched that one up for my 8-yr-old dd's birthday in March. They had tons of the carriers left, so got that, too! Now, if only I can find the video rocker at $30, I'll be all set! Just called around to the 3 Walmarts around here, but none had any. So I'll keep checking.
