I was thinking that this year I would take along a perm. magic marker and write numbers on hands of people in line. Would this be a no no? How can we stop unfair line cutters? The reason I ask is that last year I was 6 or 7th in line and then at the last moment the first people in line brought out a car full of people stating they had been here the whole time which was a lie. I was standing in line at 10 pm and NEVER saw one person in that car! I was lucky I got the laptop but the gal that came with me was the last person to get one and 3 people behind her showed up almost the same time as we did so I felt bad for them. If that car full had not rushed into line they would have gotten the laptop as well. Tina

Well I got the CC Toshiba and my Hubby stood in line for WM my son got the HP Pavillion. The HP has really great sound.. I even caled and talked to india about th problem but they said there was no problem:( Tina

Do you have sound quality issues? The ONLY thing about my laptop I don't like is that when you pop a dvd in you can barely hear it unless it is hooked up to my old desktop speakers. Tina

Called my local BB (Southgate Mi) and they said one big ticket item per person so if I wanted a laptop AND a tv I could only get one or the other. Hummmm I am getting really miffed that my hubby is working 12 hours a day starting just before thanksgiving and won't be able to help me out this year! Tina

Well I figured out that I am taking a perm. And I who had stood in line for 12 hours had NEVER seen these people! I was able to get my CC Toshiba laptop but there where 5 people behind me that thought they were going to get one but didn't Oh yes... and the cops were called as well! LOL Last year was one of the coldest black frdays on record here in Michigan. Lets hope this year is a LOT warmer!!! Tina

Man you are all gonna hate me:) Let see my stocking are legendary. Kids vie all year long in order to be on my stocking list and hate to be taken off of it. I only allow 3 people MAX who are not family to hang a stocking. Last year they had Cell Phones, an xbox game, and designer cologne in their stockings along with skateboard equipment like Wheels, a tool, and ceramic bearings ( man that put a dent in my pocket!) and a few little items that I pick up that I think they may need or novelity gifts. This year I am having MP3 players ( my kids get IPODS the other 3 get good quality but not ipods) a game system game, Colonge, some t shirts that I am having made up for their skate team and maybe I will tape a skateboard to the Stocking.

I bought the toshiba at CC and the HP at WM so I get to see them work side by side. The Toshiba has the worlds lowest sounding speakers. I still can not figure out how to make the sound go up high enough to listen to a DVD properly but that is my only bad thing to report:) I do however like the HP's keyboard better, they have Altech Lansing speakers so pretty good sound for a laptop and their touch pad has a scrolling option that the toshiba doesn't have. Now on to the TOshiba goodies:) The screen is GREAT and we have a bunch of other software goodies that the HP doesn't have. I am able to run the sims2 without disabling the graphics and it doesn't even lag! So the idea of not being able to play games on this machine is not totally correct. It is much faster then the HP but that may have to do with the added ram this machine has. I know my son has lagged a few times on the internet and I think that the ram is the problem.

I had to do the after thanksgiving dinner because my time wasn't an option. I got into line at 10 pm but was planning on getting in line at 12 am. I did a drive by and thought I had better stay. Good thing I did because at 12 I would have been the 50th in line. Tina

I had a great experiance with my local CC also. I live in Taylor Michigan anda sales agent gave my kids 2 of the $47 mp3 players that rang up as $79 so since by the time I was getting rung out the correct ones were all gone they credited my card for the extra cash and gave me them for the $47! Took me to the front of the line.. But then I had a bunch of people who were in line in front and behind me that camped out with me that night ask that they be nice to me since I was so nice to them:) See being nice has it's perks.
