  1. Just placed my order, knew about the sale, but didn't have the 10 percent code. I got 4 personalized blankets, 2 pairs of pajamas, and 2 towel bags all for about 50 bucks
  2. I'm not an avid camper like it sounds like BobbyDouglas is, so I don't know which tents would be the best, but I've seen tons of them on Ebay for cheap, for example this one with 1 minute left: 3 room camping hiking dome tent 18'x 10' sleeps 8 NEW!!, is at 61.00 now.... maybe you should check there too
  3. I'd go one size bigger than what you need (for 2 people get one that isfor 3-4 people) , a 2 man tent is fine as long as you want to get really "cozy" with that other person
  4. I have a cable modem, which is usually really quick, but it took a minute or 2 after each submit button, so it may just take a while Here's the direct link to the second page where you start the survey https://www.unilever800.com/suave/giftbasket/default.asp#q1

  7. Not sure if he has any Canon batteries, but I just got a 4hour camcorder battery for my new Panasonic PV-GS65 (which I love by the way) from a guy on EBAY for twenty bucks (Panasonic, not the generic version). I never order from HongKong because I hear so many horror stories but this guy had the following rating: the-battery Feedback Score: 2720 Positive Feedback: 99.0% Member since Sep-01-03 in Hong Kong he'd been around a while and had positive feedback so I figured for 20 bucks I'd give it a try since they were more expensive every where else, it arrived quickly and exactly as promised.
  8. Got mine today!! Thanks Brad!!
  9. We borrowed this video camera today and really liked it.. anyone know the best place to buy stuff like this?
  10. We got one... just say Free Frosty!!
  11. Check with your cable provider too. I wanted Tivo but wasn't sure about the $10 mo/$299 lifetime (which is only the lifetime of the unit you register with) costs. I found out that with the Adelphia Powerlink service I had DVR service was free, I just had to bring my old box in and trade for a DVR box (it's $3.95 a mo but I was paying that for the old digital box anyway) So I didn't have to buy a box and can upgrade/trade this one in for free if there are any problems. (I'm sure I can buy my own box too, just haven't looked into it yet) I wasn't really sure if I wanted/needed this but with 3 kids I didn't realize how often I'd miss a good portion of shows to brush teeth, get drinks, separate fighters etc!!! This is a must have!!
  12. For the most part they don't have anything I like ... but every once in a while there's something
  13. Deal.com Closing Deal.com is closing their site and reopening in February, take an extra 35% off their items with coupon code "closing"
  14. Kmart finally went 75% off today
  15. We went yesterday and racked up!! Alot of Christopher Radko stuff left over, wrapping paper, dishes etc. Anyone have any idea when Kmart is going 75%? they were still at 50 yesterday
  16. Thanks Brad!!! I had to pick up my daughters vitamin prescription so I went ... I got A tree stand, a 6ft Christmas tree (which they forgot to ring up but it was only $5.00), 32 Christmas tumblers, 4 rolls of wrapping paper, a snow globe, some Christmas Cards and bows all for $10.00!! Can I just rant about the vitamins for a second? We have been getting a 30 day (15 tablets) supply and I specifically asked the Dr to write the prescription for a 100 tablets so I don't have to keep going back, and my company just got bought out so I figured if something happened to my job, I don't have to worry about paying for things without insurance. When I picked it up it was 15 tablets for $2.75. When I asked why I didn't get the 100 that the Dr had written the prescription for I was told that the insurance company would only pay for a 30 day supply at a time, but I could pay for it myself but it would be $10.00. I said "it'll be $10.00 for 100 tablets?? You're making me pay about $19.00 total with insurance by doing it monthly....so my rant is I'm actually paying more for my daughters vitamins with insurance!!! What's up with that!!!??? (I obviously paid for it without using insurance!)
  17. Looking for the best deal on this camera...anyone know of anything?
  18. Thanks Aaron, I'll check it out
  19. I definitely appreciate the feedback I get here, but sometimes I don't even know what questions to ask and reading the reviews gets me a little more educated then I can come here and ask about personal preference or specific questions that I have from reading the review.
  20. Maybe you could somehow work in links to review/comparison sites on GottaDeal.....I don't have the electronics or computer knowledge most of you do so I'm forever trying to find sites that review the items in the deals you post and see how they compare to similar items in price and quality.
  21. Cracker Barrel Restaurant had 50% off all their Christmas merchandise and they had a couple of candles, I smelled the ButterCreme that was awesome, I'm debating going back and getting it!!
  22. We got a bunch of stuff but did the best at Burdines-Macy's...they had nice hand painted wine goblets, boxes of 4 for $5.00, got a bunch for those "little" presents that you need to get people where you want something nice, you don't really know the person and you don't want to spend alot!!
