I can remember being 12 or so and my mom taking us to the mall on BF before holiday camp.... she got us to the door and said "when the door opens run as fast as you can and get that vcr" ... I still remember my step sister and I running through the store past all the adults grabbing the vcr and high fiving each other in our triumph!!

I looked at another BF site today and saw their Sears Ad... It had their logo pasted on top of the Gottadeal logo on the ad LOL!! Then I saw a site that didn't even try to paste over the GD logo, they just left it big as day!!

We looked at Ipod vs others last year and back then and if I remember correctly found that the Creative Zen used the same Hitachi hard drive as the Ipod (so there was no difference there) the case on the Ipod stood up a little better than Creative, but Creative had a battery that you could replace yourself and battery life was longer... We went with the Creative 'cause it was tons cheaper and not much of a difference...

Don't know if it's like this everywhere but we have both and on BF I prefer to go to a non superwalmart... there seems to be less people, and everyone isn't crowded around a pallet just waiting to tear each other apart....

Holy cow the possibilities are endless!! My daughter had a dora game, don't know which one but you tired to get jewels everywhere, she had a little trouble getting boots to jump on the high parts, but maybe something like that...

My DD#2 wants a Gameboy because big sister has one.... I'm going to try and get her the SP for Christmas (I hope that Walmart rumor is true).... what games are good for a young girl? (Easy to understand and maneuver)

Did anyone buy these last year? I was thinking of getting one for a 6yoa but wondering if she would just quit playing with it after a day or two...

Like everyone else I love it more for the time my mom and I spend together (probably the most time we spend together in one shot all year) than the bargains.

with some kids these are hit and miss, and you hate to spend that much money if they don't like them. someone got some for my oldest and she didnt' pay much attention to them until about 10 months later, then wore them for a month non stop, and now nothing.... she'll have outgrown them soon. For the most part if they want something at a store I'm already planning on going to, I'll try and get it, but I'm gettin' my stuff first!!! My aunt is unable to leave the house due to illness and we do try and find a way to get her what she wants for her kids though...

What are you giving to your kids teachers this year? I have 3 kids and between them they have 7 teachers..... doesn't leave alot of room for me to spend much...I think I'm doing candles and lotion (not very exciting but doable) what do you get and how much do you spend?

My worst experience with this is at BB..... last year we were like 7th line, and the line stretched down the side of the building, but instead of wrapping around the back of the building, they lined up around the parking lot so that the end of the line was basically right in front of the doors, just a little further out. Of course when the doors opened those people (who from here on out I will refer to as the stupid people) ran for it and caused a huge melee. We had a ticket thank god... but the stupid people were not smart enough to get there early so they were also not smart enough to realize that you needed a ticket and they pushed their way inside the store to where the items were and were screaming at the employees. The employees hadn't planned well either and had you follow footsteps printed on the floor in different colors to the items you wanted... so you followed the path, but it just weaved its way around the store back to almost where we started and by then there was an ocean of stupid people... They finally yelled out for the people with tickets to come up and we had to push our way through to the front all the time getting shoves from the stupid people..... The only saving grace was they were ringing up the 149.00 desktops in the loading area and once you went in you rang it up and went out the back door (it was only bad if you wanted something else).

I always go get ours early as well, gone by 10am....

I was at Costco today and they very pretty snow globes, 4 different kinds with a silver vase and then you put a photo in it... they were beautiful and came in a 2pk for 11 something... at 6 bucks a piece not bad for people who you're not quite sure what to get... They also had pretty nightlights 3 for 11.. didn't buy one but I shoulda... might go back
