I live in a rural area n he has to come down my driveway which is about 1/2 an acre and kind of crappy. I feel bad for him. I plan on trying to figure out something better for packages in spring. He can’t leave them near the mailbox because my road is on a county rd n it’s actually fairly busy. I know the ups, fedex and mailman hate me!

That my daughter will be home the 28th of December for 2 weeks from the Navy. She’s been stationed in Seattle n we haven’t seen her since Feb. we miss her n can’t wait to spend time with her. Going to celebrate Christmas on the 30th with everyone when she gets here.

That is so pretty. I always wanted to do the whole hallmark type Christmas lol go with the family to the tree farm. Get the sled n pick out a tree while drinking hot chocolate. Cut it down n bring it home to decorate. My issue is I’m allergic so no picturesque trip to the tree farm for me lol

Did u all notice lifetime has a lot of new movies too this year! I’m having a hard time watching the hallmarks n lifetime. Plus the UP next work has plenty. I’m giving my DVR some serious run for its money. Lol I think I may not catch up till after Christmas at this rate.

We always did their favorite candy, new toothbrushes, lip balms n hand sanitizers, deck of cards, smaller amount gift cards for fast food restaurants, small hand lotions, hair ties as both girls has long hair.

Our one granddaughter is 10 and this year we are getting her a cute purse with matching wallet and stuffing a few gift cards in there for her favorite stores like claires and justice. May do some cute lip glosses too

I don’t think the ads r that great either. Walmart looks exactly like last years. Won’t stop me from shopping but I’m not impressed.

I always wanted to go to Tenessee. See the Dixie Stampede and stay in the Christmas Hotel down there.

a candy basket, a scratch off lottery ticket tree, a gift bag with a candle warmer n melts, a family movie with snacks in a basket, a throw with warm fuzzy socks too.

I put the tree up last night. No decorations yet. We wanted to make sure the lights worked. Ill start decorating today.

Got my SS and ornament names so excited! Kohls has cute ornaments on sale plus I used my Kohls cash and a gift card i got for doing mypoint.com. Woohoo I have 40.00 with those so i got my daughter 2 really cute plagues to hang on her walls and then 2 adorable ornaments for my ornament buddy and spent 1.16 My kinda shopping.

Kohl’s started their pre Black Friday special with some good deals and 20% off. Got some decent towels n of course the blankets that r always on sale. Got 3 for gifts lol don’t even know who will receive them yet. Plus I ended up scoring some kohl’s cash for next week.

My husband knows the living room tv is always on hallmark. He can gladly go in the bedroom. lol

I have used wish many times. It’s ok. They have sent me the wrong item several times. Remember also the stuff is from China mostly so sizes are not correct and electronics may not work with our systems here. Also shipping can sometimes take forever. Some products are flimsy. I got some good things too though so it just depends on what ur looking for.

Im having an issue with my husbands children. All are grown in their lates 20's or early 30's. Oldest and youngest are married with children. Middle isnt, but all 3 have decent jobs and do really well financially. Its a struggle. I know the youngest and his wife will be easier as they enjoy date night so I'm going to do a whole night of gift cards for them. A movie one to go see a movie plus extra for popcorn etc, then a goft card for their favorite resturant and even one for some ice cream after. This way they wont have to spend a dime and will have fun. My issue is the other 2. The oldest who is married well his wife is a home body. She seriously never leaves the house. He does the grocery shopping and everything gets ordered through amazon or walmart. The middle son well since he is single has everything i mean everything you can think of. I hate to do gift cards for them but at a loss of what else to do.

the saran wrap ballis a game we do. You start buy putting something in the center then wrap saran wrap around it to start a ball. we stop every few wraps and tear it off and start another place adding different items as we go(gum, candy, banadas, playing cards, mints, scratch off tickets etc..) i usually use about 2 boxes of clear plastic wrap. the ball is quite large when im finished and we rolls 2 dice to see who has the highest number goes first. The person trying to unwrap the ball starts with the person in front of him rolling dice until they get doubles of something then they take the ball and try to unwrap it. This is done in a cirlce so someone is always unwrapping and the person in front of them are always trying to get doubles to take the ball. Its so much fun. whatever you unwrap you get to keep. I make a trip to dollar tree and get all kinds of things. lol
