We do this every Christmas Eve n everyone loves it. We have an adult one and a kids one. The adult one has small bottle of alcohol, candy, playing cards, I usually put a shot glass in for the start of the ball, bandanas, scratch offs, etc. the adults have a blast with it

We don’t even have a Kmart around here anymore. Makes me sad.

I got a layaway at Walmart already and buy when I see a good sale. Having the grandkids living with us means buying more for them than i would normally. They will need stockings n such.

Of course Christmas Vacation!! But other faves are The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and anything on Hallmart.

Anyone have a simple sugar cookie receipe with icing. I have no idea why I can not make them. They always turn out so nasty. lol Last year I resorted to buying sugar cookies made and icing them with the stuff the bakery sent. I want to be all Martha Stewart lol

I have spoiled my kids over the years and well there are too many now to do this. What is your limit for gifts? How many do you buy for your children? I want them to be happy without being spoiled and me going over board and broke.

on christmas eve we go to my moms house and we do the saran wrap ball for everyone over 18. the little kids get so many toys they are content but I put this together for the adults to have some fun. Ive put so much into them that everyone gets excited. We look forward to playing every year now.

throws from Kohls as we love them even though every fmaily member have several. video games, rubber maid and kids jammies n clothes from walmart bath and body works to get the bag! those are my must haves every year lol.

When the kids were little we would eat Thanksgiving dinner then put up the tree and watch How the Grinch stole Christmas. My sister and I would leave to go black friday shopping in the middle of the night when black friday was truely black friday. Then when they got older I started putting it up the beginning of November. I had 3 kids who were into every sport so i could put things up over a few days and not be rushed then we could enjoy it so ive stuck to that but this year we have the 4 grandchildren living with us so i may have to go back towards black friday so that i dont confuse them with it being up so long.

info sent. I usually miss this as I dont get on alot thorugh the rest of the year but excited to make it in this year. woohoo

Its a free for all. Wrapping paper every where. lol Im sure we should slow down and enjoy teh unwrapping but i get just as excited as the kids lol

Last year our one grandson said he was lots of money. SO i took a 5 gal water bottle n filled it with 75 ones and 25.00 in change. We wrapped it whihc wasnt easy. Boy did he love that. He kept laughing. He had to work for that money. It kept him busy all evening. Of course I dont think his parents were impressed with the change but oh well. He loved it. lol

I'm so excited for these movies. My DVR will be ready to go

On christmas eve they get 1 gift to tide them through the day, another gift at bedtime which is always jammies and then we open on christmas morning. This year my husband and I have our grandkids so they willl open on christmas morning as usual but our youngest daughter is in the navy and will come home the 29th so we will open presents with my children when she gets home. The grandkids are young (3,6,8 and 9) and my step daughters from my forst husband who is deceased. Then my current husband has 3 children we will exchange with on christmas eve. My children normally spend the night with us but with my daughter in the Navy we decided it would be fun to have a sleep over and do christmas with her when she arrives.

The wreck my journals is really cute. You can find them on Amazon or Target.They have them for all ages (even adult) My daughter has one n loves it. I got an American Girl one for my 7 year old grand daughter and plan to put it in a box with some colored gel pens and maybe some other cute stuff like pocket anti bacterial gel etc..

i know the layaway is pretty particular so what all can we put on layaway? we have 4 grandkids and one on the way.

I started when my children were young to get that better deal. Now i still love going but hate that its so early on thanksgiving day.

christmas club. i have one every year and i also do my points and walmart savings catcher. i started swag bucks but got a new cell so i need to download it again. anything helps

ok we have 6 kids. my hubbys 3 (all men...32, 28, and 24 mine are 2 g 24 and 17 and 1 b 18) His oldest son has 4 kids and a wife and youngest has girlfriend and she has a kid. They all have a mother who buys for them for Christmas. My oldest has a father who is living and buys for her however my youngest 2's father is deceased) So this is my dilemma and i want honest answers please. Last year his kids became very upset that i bought a few extra gifts for my youngest 2 as they only get gifts from me. My oldest (once their dad passed away) has said mom concentrate on them and don't get me as much cuz my dad and grandparents buy for me too. We usually give his kids money because every time we buy them something they take it back. Now i don't want to get into another battle this year over the amount of gifts everyone gets. I try to keep value of the gifts the same except i get the younger 2 maybe an extra hundred dollars worth. Am i being unreasonable? How many gifts per child do you think it reasonable? I try to go by the amount of money being spent?

i got my inside decorated woohoo tree up etc...not doing much for outside cuz i have 2 pups that may attack inflatables lol i did put candles in the windows. Was thinking of doing lights around my house but it may be too costly this year hoping i can get some after christmas deals for next year.

Its our first year in a new house too. I cant wait to decorate. I already re arranged the furniture lol

I printed pages online for mine. Mine has pages for stocking stuffers, gifts, black friday, recipes, addresses for chirstmas cards, things to buy for the house etc..there are so many pages on different sites

I like Thursday openings however they should be later so employees can enjoy time with their families. I don't mind waiting till midnight actually shopping earlier is a rush. I wouldn't even mind waiting till the friday morning like it use to be. Made alot of friends along the way camping out at walmart.
