I wish...

Received my SS package yesterday! Waiting until Christmas to open!!!!

Last minute gifts for last minute shoppers maybe...

Waiting on a few more items for my SS... getting my cards ready to mail out... I leave for a much needed vacay 12/4 so I am hoping to get everything mailed by this Saturday!!

I ordered everything I wanted from Wally World when the sale went live on Wednesday PJ's, socks and undies for the grand Ice maker, Portable heater The $98 tv Rubbermaid containers I went out BF morning for poinsettias and batteries from Lowe's and also left with a 3'-4' live tree ... Then stopped by Wally World and picked up more PJ's, socks and undies , Otter box cases, men's slippers, mini ornaments, children's books, young men's body wash sets... I must say, pulling into the Lowe's parking lot at about 6:20 on BF I saw a bunch of people walking out with a cart of poinsettias, but looking across to the Target parkin lot I could see there were not a lot of people out shopping... apparently this was the experience from others as well...

Looks like it may be even cheaper today! Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing...

Yeah, I didn't add anything else to my list from the additional items added...

Poinsettias and batteries is what I wanted and they are both up a bit in price, but not much... I wasn't even going for batteries this year, however, my adult son said he and his son will need some for sure...

OSJL sounds like a good deal, but they have nothing like that in my neck of the woods ... Idk the last time I've been in a Best Buy to shop as I don't seem to finds good deals with them... The little drugstore chains Walgreens and Rite Aid in particular, don't have appealing deals anymore and they were always staples during BF... I must admit, Amazon is still a big provider of goods for me... I still have Verizon for Wi-Fi and my cell phone...

I do it with coffee, but I think this would work with other items for college students or new moms/dads.

Yeah, with increased prices it’s not the same as years past… of course some of my yearly purchase items have increased, not a deal breaker as it’s to be expected, but I definitely notice the increase…I’m so glad all of my children are grown and I only really have to shop for the grand… but I think it really depends on your needs, mine have definitely changed and I BF shop now out of tradition (and because I like saving money).

I HATE that they don't list prices, only $ off amounts ... it absolutely doesn't entice me...

Definitely see a few things I need/want and I'm off that day so I'll be patiently waiting for the early online access to start...

The TV and a couple other items I want are at Walmart only deals and I am in the office by myself this week so I couldn't take off... I'm sure that tv for $148 will be gone by the time I get off at 5 pm..

Meh, not seeing any must haves… I’m assuming the BF week ad will have the poinsettias as they do every year… and since my son is out of the house I don’t really have a need for the giant pack of the batteries, especially at that price…

My kids were still sleep when I got home… didn’t even know I was gone… I was able to unload and hide all the presents before breakfast
