the moment Dh and I ALWAYs talk about is the year of the first jcpenny snowglobe. They handed them out upstairs(genius) and so many people crammed onto the escalator it broke..would go up a few steps and then slide back down like a chain or a gear was missing a part...i have a fear of escalators/elevators anyways but being in the middle of that thing while it jerked and wheezed cemented that fear LOL

how close will online prices be to B&M? Just wanting to compare the toy prices they have to see if 50% will be the better deal as the toys run so much higher at kohls

her team suits are finals and I should probably just get different color in them .....just of course hoping to get a deal Boy did we miss the boat on first suit. We figured a generic swim suit wouldnt be best so plunked out the 35$ for a speedo...it has NOT held up. Its faded and so stretched out its barely staying on. She has dropped some weight but nothing so drastic as to how suit hangs on her now. Talk to her coach and she said to make sure it has some 3 letter in the materials (pht phb...cant remember now) Her team suits have it and are a little looser from weight drop but we ordered a size below where she would wear on coach's recommendation and that was a good idea cause now they are about perfect Hey just a quick Q no one on our team has them....do you or anyone you know use prescription goggles? DD wears glasses and is very close to blind w/out them so seeing wall for turns is rough as well as setting a mark to dive from blocks to. Just looking for anyone with experience with a particular maker or retailer

Does Dicks sell swim wear? DD needs a new competitive practice suit and have been thinking about trying to wait till BF to see if any sports stores will have a generic X off of any purchase type coupon.

just typed up DDs list...only 49 items which is way down as it used to basically be a toy book unto itself but GEEZ the saying about Never growing and just having toys get more expensive is true LOL I miss you 10$ fischer price playset! We have a glassed in back porch that is DDs art studio basically LOL So it is played without there and its easy to clean up w/ a stick vacuum

We are actually planning to not leave our area till after 6am just for we can go and we haven't even seen an ad yet LOL Based on previous years this is always a MUST for us though

We buy nearly 75% of DDs clothes from childrens place. We tend to tear knees out quickly and even the cotton pants(like scrub material kinda) they made the capris from 3 years ago havent torn out at knees while any jeans from Walmart or target rarely last a full season. Also most pants/skirts at TCP have the adjustable waist so we can buy a size up and wear longer.

We have a local store where you can go make the doll. You pick hair head type. They were only 50$ and the experience was neat. We did it for same reason she wants AG but June hasn't left the high chair she was sat in probably 8-10 months ago doesn't make me want to drop the cash for a high chair mate for her from AG. DD is 7.5 but is just NOT a doll kinda girl. She dresses up her webkinz more then a doll. Same thing with barbie. She rarely takes them out of case but LPS is played weekly. So I do think the age thing for doll may be subjective. If your DD is very "mommy" then she may be ready for it before 7-8.

was gonna sit with DD on line and at least look at scans but seeing now scans arent out yet. May try looking at the online version at tru site but just doesnt seem the same to watch her scour each page with a big marker in her hand

we didnt get it either...not sure how we will do the santa list this year as the big book is usually vital...

hallmarks will have them and webkinz.com has a store locate feature Dont believe the Panda is retired (they retire them so fast anymore i could have missed it though) so most places should have an unretired pet

our meijers carries them in the bulk section if you have them in your area

yep we moved from the gba to the ds this christmas and she still plays some of her older games on it

thats funny as the shrek 3 dvd was empty for us last black friday....guess dreamworks quality control is napping on job

it took us 7 stores at Christmas time looking for the pink one for our dd and then finally had to give in and buy the rose colored one that was bundled with nintendodogs cause at that point we were scared of not getting any...now that was right at Christmas so demand was high....i would hit 5-6 retailers right now and see if they have them both or which one in stock to gauge an idea we are still looking for a DS for stepmom but trying to find a deal on it...other then bundles or used...there are no deals on these from what we found
