i didnt mean i feel Brad should test waters. Sorry if it came out that way. I just mean that every year they get all up in arms about its secrecy and it never works. It always ends up out there. So why fight it...heck make it a 25 days of walmart and release it 1 page at a time or something...I just think they would be better off to embrace that we want to know so we can plan to go there then expend so much on trying (and always failing) to keep it a secret in todays age

i have a prepaid cell so it cost me a nickel a time but only think they sent 3-4 so wasnt a huge deal i would think the "standard messaging rate would apply"

i so didnt know value city had closed down we dont have one local but always visited when we went to neighboring larger towns

maybe there is one copy sitting on the CEO's desk and they will fax that in the AM to stores and just xerox copies. The ad in the paper will just say "get your list at the door" what i dont understand is why the ads that have leaked and are floating around (none have floated past me I am so out of the know) but are still no-no to the major deal sites? I get that GD can get in trouble and that isnt what I am asking I mean WM has to know there are copies floating around so why not just tell GD go ahead instead of losing time I know w/ each day I re-peruse the Kohls ad i am getting more and more ok with skipping WM. I can see and plan on it from Kohls. If WM wants to play this "its my toy and I wont share" game fine...my money will be welcomed at Kohls I am sure. I know that they have given the ok to release it Sunday but the 3-4 days leading up to vacation can be busy. I would like to have game plan blocked out before that so its tempting me to just plan elsewhere and if WM has something they can be a last stop...just dont get the gag order once it has been leaked anywhere wow I rambled LOL

do *most* super centers stay open? Am going to start calling walmarts in surrounding area and wondering if I should concentrate on supercenters first

my lovely SIL tried to tell my daughter 2 years ago there is no santa. I am fine with her telling her kids that he is a detractor from what they believe in but OMG I have never wanted to wallop someone upside the head so badly/ Totally NOT her place but she rarely understands boundaries Luckily DD just said "Guess ____ & ____ are so bad Aunt___ tells them there is no Santa" to which mommy replied "yep" I know not my most adult moment but I'm ok with that

though to be fair you guys have Marcs and we dont and I can wander Marcs on a normal day for a few hours happily LOL

I live in Michigan and have a meijers 5 minutes....Kills me to go to Cleveland and lose out on them LOL...So hoping for the online aspect. Would be a great bonus for me.

last two years we have been inside. family thanksgiving location changed so we are back to outside unless I can find a WM in the greater Cleveland area that is open on TG cause I *WILL* go past an outside wait WM to get to a inside wait one LOL

If only we were closer to each other huh The Kohls ad and The meijers ad have me tingling. And isnt Kohls a bunch of SmartyMcFarties to not set sale prices that WM will pm...sneaky sneaky

i still think if i was in an area that didnt I would inquire politely to corporate why its the norm in the majority of the areas and since your store doesnt choose to participate it doesnt make WM the *must go* place like it is for those of us that can PM....Probably wont accomplish anything but theres always the chance it may and it cost nothing btu a few minutes of your time

meijers just added online shopping i think last year so the question might not have a known answer right now

i can only do meijers on Thursday this year. ( None in area that will be spending Thanksgiving at We are actually driving 4 hrs on Thursday just for I can shop meijers before leaving area instead of going to Cleveland night before Now THATS dedication LOL

i didnt knwo any walmarts still didnt PM...Didnt they even have commericals last year about how they would do it (at least in the michigan area)

i do the same and have had so many parents act all weird about it. We ALWAYS did this when i was growing up. So of course when I had DD and the parties started to happen I always sent if we couldnt make it...Didnt know this had gone out of fashion?!?! Also I have wrapped Bday gifts in christmas paper....though its usually in Feb. or June...Hee Hee....I do try to buy generic 1 color paper to use in after sales but if I run out I just wrap it white side out and hand DD the stamps and art kit...we call it custom paper Only do this for family/close friends though
