I agree that Friday seems forgotten about. I dont mind the earlier times. What I hated was I needed 1 thing at 6pm 1 at 8pm mall at midnight 1 item at 4am and 1 item at 6am....none were long enough to take a nap as we were 2 hrs away at a larger town I dont care if they open earlier i just wish everyone would be on same time or closer. Had so much down time between each sale it made the night drag. I HATED the Walmart corral system. Total waste of time. I am sure they will claim it was safer but from the amount of empty wrappers/boxes i saw hidden among the shelves for whatever that aisle had in the way of food they were robed blind. Smashing that many people into aisle for hours led to insane theft I would guess. I laughed (and shouldn't have) at the open/empty container of dibs in freezer aisle and the half (eww) ate carton of ice cream complete with obvious gouge marks from using fingers as spoons. Will be avoiding ice cream at walmart for a few months till I feel the stock is all rotated out....

Visited 2 walmarts. the main one we went to had everyone stand in a HUGE line (easily 7-8 aisles snaked back) and would let 5-8 people into a roped off area with that had tablets tvs printers headphones as well as lots of little items (sd cards screen protectors etc) They also did this for ALL movies/Blu Rays and the video games/controllers The 2nd one we just stopped by real quick to grab something and while talking with workers they mentioned they just did a line for each item. Would have preferred a line for each item. Had to pick up a tv for my dad and we stood for 2 hours + with everyone that wanted the instock guarantee items to get a fairly unpopular size of tv. Wouldnt be shocked if we were the only ones that wanted it LOL... I understand the thought process behind only letting a few into are at a time but honestly wasnt a fan of this set up. Wasted a HUGE amount of time and as we were snaked in the aisles had no way to know if they had ran out of an item before being one of the 5-8 let in to roped area Was this a per store manager decision as to how to do?

This was my first time doing walgreens. I didnt know there was a 20 transaction limit. I was on my last order so not a huge deal but I have $13 left in reward catalinas. Are they trash?? Does my "limit" reset? Kinda shocked as there were 2 women that had many more items then I did and they still were going but maybe they had it divided into 20?? The one had 2 carts full so would be surprised that they stayed under the 20. Is it something that is from cashier to cashier? Thanks for any info!

Walmart Announces they will match competitors BF prices a week before BF
KBsDarling replied to nikkilugi's topic in 2013
The 1 toy item i wanted is listed at a higher price then what they are selling it for on bf....Guess i was silly to hope to get to knock an item off list early LOL -
So for what i listed needing it for which one do you suggest? Thanks! I did google search and one article says avoid and one says "This would be a great tablet for a child or someone needing a cheap tablet for school." so trying to know which to trust is mind blowing For the uses i listed which would you suggest?

The 2013 Black Friday Product Charts (Updated 11/25)
KBsDarling replied to stationchief's topic in 2013
First year I have really used them...where have you been all my life! Wow! I was not planning to go shopping and now am so was in hurry up mode to make a game plan....nice that you planned ahead for me and got all the info ready! LOL -
we had them replace 1 and they were great about it...they sent us a refurb but said it was still covered so no worries...within 6 months refurb had same issue. I really was ready to blame myself (and my kid) and then started researching....it is/was a major issue with them. My step moms went within the yr. Was replaced and replacement went before another year was up...so between just the 3 of us we had 6 kindles ALL do the same exact thing. I have called till i had the # memorized. I have done live chats. The answer is "yes there was an issue with the charging ports. Its been fixed in the new HD one though" basically across the board. I would even PAY to have it serviced but they don't offer it. Honestly a company that will not service its own proprietary hardware is not a company I will continue to shop with Ok the front runner for me so far is the 99$ one at walmart. Tell me why I dont want it LOL http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridayScans/WalMart/18 front runner for DD is $70 from kmart http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridayScans/Kmart/31 My question is....to not have to station people at 2 stores is the $29 savings worth it??? is the Walmart one a better deal? am i missing something obvious?

Was thinking the same...where is the 75c shampoo and cheap cereal???

OK trying to play catch up as I would typically have charts and spreadsheets already made LOL Looking for 2 tablets this year. My daughter and I both had and LOVED our Kindles. I was a total Amazon fan girl and sang praises everywhere. Then we tried to get them serviced. After a year of fighting with amazon/searching for any one that will work on them the amazon love has ended. They are fully aware of the first gen charging port issues and will only offer the solution of "buy a new one" and I can not find 1 computer guy that will work on them due to proprietary issues. So now with 2 kindle paperWEIGHTS in the house I am not planning to purchase a kindle. Main things we would be using for- For DD13: wifi only needed, Facebook, youtube, browsing, email, netflix, Hulu, music, maybe some limited game playing *would like to have a camera* For Me: wifi only needed, browsing, email, facebook, netflix, hulu, time waster games(angry birds, little alchemy, candy crush), reading, some type of doc program for tracking swim times * would like camera AND video capabilities for recording her meets* Size does not matter to either of us. I would prefer to stay away from apple (feel you pay for the name more then anything) and would take a deal from heaven to make me consider a Kindle again. I would like best deal possible but know that the $50 specials are not going to do what I want. So where is my best bang for buck for both of us? Suggestions?

We just hit them up as well. DD was given a $100 GC...think she got 4-5 full outfits AND a winter coat for that $100. Found jeans for $3.20 each! WOW!!!

WOW does run fine on them...Sims...will not

we took 1 back already and are debating the 2nd one. The 1st one was it wasnt strong enough to do thegaming DD does...not a shock but was worth a try. The 2nd one is cause we are having the updating issues. Where it wont or randomly turns on/off....just a little too glitchy for me

Actually there is extended returns for christmas season Walmart's Holiday Returns Policy Print Email Attention Holiday Shoppers! If you buy an item between Nov. 1 and Dec. 24, 2012 that has a normal return policy of 15 or 30 days, we will extend the time you have to make a return by starting to count those days on Dec. 26, 2012. That means you can buy a camera, laptop, DVD player or other item that normally has a 15 or 30-day returns window and know that the recipient will have until the dates listed below to make a return or exchange, depending on the item. http://help.walmart.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/203/session/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xMzU1MDg0ODA4L3NpZC9reDQzUmtkbA%3D%3D
