  1. The Panasonic is on the Circuit City ad. But the picture of it is split up between 4 different pages, so it's hard to find. Toshiba outsources their Plasma production and they've went downhill since then. You definately need to see it before even considering buying it.
  2. After looking at both TVs, the Vizio looks better than the Toshiba. However, the Panasonic at CC for $1999 looks best!

    Sold out items?

I did it 2 years ago during BF. Ordered from the warehouse and got it the following Monday.

    Delivery

This is just an idea, but why don't you call the store. I bet they could even tell you exactly how much it would be.
  5. This usually means that each store will have a certain amount on hand and they also have anywhere from 200-2,000 in their regional warehouses. I purchased a big screen 2 years back and the store had 6 on hand but the regional warehouse had 600 on hand. So, to answer you question, you probably won't have to fight your way to the back to get a big screen. You can probably pick up the rest of your items and them head to the back and find an employee to reserve one for you. Then after one is reserved, it will be shipped to the store, or your home, usually within a week.
  6. Chances are not too many people will be waiting in line for these speakers. They sound great and are priced to match. However, the average Joe isn't going to spend $250 on surround sound speakers. However, there are only 3 per store. To answer your question, you'd still probably better get there pretty early. In KC Missouri, there are usually 200 people lined up by 4 am. It totaly depends on your store. The best thing to do might be to ask an employee at the Best Buy.
  7. Totally depends on the City. In Independence, Missouri (suburb of KC) I got there at 10 PM last year and there were 10 people ahead of me. These pc's go quickly half the people in line want one. So, your best bet is to get to the store by 10 PM, setup a tent and get some sleep.
  8. I know they will have the Razr for T-Mobile and Verizon, and they will most likely have it for Cingular. If you have a contract and want to Upgrade your phone with the same carrier, you will not get the phone for the advertised price. You will most likely have to pay $30-$50 more. That's standard practice in the wireless industry. Carriers attract new customers with lower prices, but current customers end up paying more when they get upgrades. And yes, your contract will be extended for 2 years. If you want the phone for $29.99 you have to sign a contract with a new carrier.
  9. Obviously an attempt to avoid price match attempts.
  10. Go to a CompUSA or a Fry's. Sign up for brand new T-Mobile service and you get the following -A razr for $29.99 -T-Mobile Fewest Dropped Calls & #1 JD Powers & Associates rated Coverage -T-Mobile's award winning Customer Service -A $50 unadvertised mail in rebate -A $200 credit toward other items in the store. That's $200 free folks!!!!!
  11. As a cheap alternative, Home Depot usually rents pick up trucks for $20 for a few hours. and... You won't get it delivered on Black Friday. I ordered a Big Screen 2 years ago on BF and didn't get it delivered until the following Monday.

    BB in Brooklyn

Just go to the store and ask a few employee's. Somebody's bound to know.
  13. I sincerely doubt either company will offer the PCs online. If per chance CC does offer the PC online, you probably will not be able to sign up for Vonage and get the discount at the same time.
  14. That's just silly. They won't install it on BF. They'll schedule it over the following week.
  15. It means you can hook up your ipod and play them through your head unit.
  16. Last year if you had a ticket then yes, you were pretty much guaranteed an item. However, in past years I've gotten tickets while waiting in line and never had to give them to an employee to pick up an item.
  17. No one is sure of the model number. Therefore it's impossible to get such info. We'll have to wait for a better scan or until the real ad comes out.
  18. Mark, I am incredibly impressed with the Klipsch audio speakers in the best buy ad. The quintet surround sound at $250 is half price and an AWESOME deal. I stoppped by Best Buy last night and they rocked. The 10" Klipsch subwoofer is also a great half price deal @ $199. Personally I have the 12" (which is not on sale @ $514) and it rocks the house. However, the 10" is great for a moderate size room. (My 12" shakes the house literally at only 1/4 power). As for a receiver, all of them in the ad are good in their own right. Just depends on how much you want to spend. I wouldn't recommend any of the packages that come bundled with speakers as they tend to be cheap and severely underpowered. I prefer to buy speakers seperately so that I can buy better quality. However, the bundled packages are a good deal if you aren't expecting much. If I were to pick a receiver from the ad, I would go with the $399 Sony. However, the $199 Sony is a good deal as well if that is more in your price range. True test: Go to Best Buy, sit in the leather couch, and listen to the Klipsch Synergy III floor speakers with the Klipsch Quintet and the 12" 650 watt powered sub. You'll be blown away. Take my word. Buy pieces one at a time. Buy a reciever, the best that you can afford. Wait a few months, then buy your floor speakers, the best that you can afford. Wait a few more months, then buy your subwoofer. and so on... You'll be much happier in the long run doing this than if you buy one of the $199 cheapie surround sound panasonic deals.
  19. Yes, there are special brackets that will allow you to hang a 50" on a wall. You can get them at Best Buy. However, Sam's Club has them at better prices. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=340342

    Line Jumpers

That's completely illogical. Why wouldn't they just have them wear their store uniform and stop people before they even take cuts? It makes more sense to stop the problem immediately rather than later when the line jumper has been in line for 5 hours.
  21. In 2003 I was there at 4 am and was third in line. In 2004 I was there at 2 am and was First in line. In 2005 I was there at midnight and was about 10th in line. See any trends?

    Line Jumpers

I feel sorry for kids that get used as placeholders. That aside, it ticks me off when people emerge 15 minutes prior to opening and join their kids/family/friends in line. If you haven't been in line the entire time (except for bathroom breaks) you don't deserve to join them in line. You are ruining the experience for everyone. You say your children are too young to wait in the cold...don't bring them. Can't find a babysitter....sorry. The only clemency that should be allowed is to disabled and/or elderly individuals (and by elderly I don't mean overweight 40 year olds). IF YOU AREN'T WILLING TO FREEZE YOUR ARSE OFF IN THE COLD WEATHER, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO CUT IN FRONT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN WAITING LONGER THAN YOU HAVE. Don't ruin it for everyone else.
  23. I got double points on any item and a 10% off coupon good until 11-22-06.
  24. Last year BB had no interest for 18 months (i believe). Would be pretty crappy if BB doesn't give at least 6 months free this year.
