Oh, MY Lord.....those are BEAUTIFUL children! You have a house full of heartbreakers, don't you!!! I haven't sent out cards in a few years, but want to get back into it this year. Coincidentally...was getting ready to go shop for them today. I read on another thread about Hallmark's 75% off sale and thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone. I'll probably send out 20-25 cards.....and I am going to look into the Snapfish thing, too. Thanks for the info.!

oh, I want to be like you when I grow up......I always aspire to do that...but somehow never quite pull it off!

We never know for sure if we are getting one or not...but if we do, it's usually days before Christmas....well past the time I've finished shopping. I have been known to put it on the credit card that I use for some of that shopping, though.

I usually hide them.....then wrap a few here and there...when everyone is gone at the same time. I like for them to come home and there is a pile under the tree.....which I have to stop myself from putting up in early November...sometimes.

My mom just had open heart surgery and I was thinking about getting one of these for her for Christmas to help with the general "tidiness" of the house. Her house is mostly carpet (standard nap, not Berber) and she has 2 cats....any advice would be much appreciated here, as well.

That idea sounds PERFECT to me...but the hubby would never go for it. He feels like he HAS to overcook and we all have to overeat or its not Thanksgiving!

Go out to eat lunch somewhere really good, then come home and nap. I leave all the goodies in the trunk until everyone is gone and then I get everything out, update my lists of "need to buy" and start wrapping!

Yes! mousesavers.com was a VERY useful resource for us. The newsletter gave a "heads up" tip regarding Priceline hotel rooms when I was planning for the last trip to WDW.....I ended up staying in the park for $36 a night...which is unheard of!!

Hey, hey, hey......now! Like I said "NOT to offend the CM consultants"....Just trying to give the girl a bigger picture that there are more products out there that are just as good. Didn't mean to get your knickers in a bunch! It's just scrapbooking....not Scientology.

Warning! Scrapbooking is HIGHLY addictive. A friend of mine started showing me her books about 6 years ago when our daughters were starting cheerleading in junior high. She got me to go to a Creative Memories show. My first reaction was "these women are crazy for spending this much money on scrapbook pages"! Fast forward to today.....I have an entire cabinet full of papers, stickers, tools and books. I've completed about 12 books....with no end in sight. You will really enjoy it. Side note, though....and NO offense to the Creative Memories consultants out there.....but once you get the hang of it, you can do them for A LOT less expensive, and just as wonderful, if you will go the Hobby Lobby or Michaels route. Walmart even carries some items now. Thanks for this post! What a great Deal!!!

Thanks for all the super insider info...I'll be monitoring for more. Just dropped the DD (she's almost 20) off at DW for the College Program. She'll be there until the end of May, and we are going to try to go visit during Spring Break. The last time we went (in 2000) we spent.....well, WAY TOO MUCH. I wanna try to take advantage of every discount possible this time. The husband and son will want to do Universal, too, so any help in that area would be most appreciated, too!
