Mine was 70% off last night but there wasn't much left except for tissue paper, ribbon, and cookie mix - none of which I need. I did, however, manage to find one of those heavy duty bristle type door rugs for $3.89 and 2 of those fancy looking boxed picture frames for $4.49 each to start a gift cabinet I've heard others tell of. I haven't even started yet! I had Christmas with my boyfriend but that's it. I'm hosting my dad and his family tomorrow evening and then my mom and her family next Saturday! I'm READY to take down the decorations but I can't until the 6th. I love the holidays too but I'm usually waaaay over it as soon as the next day hits but I understand your feelings. I usually start planning a vacation to get over the the post-special event blues.

Yay!!! Based on postings and me checking the tracking numbers, all SS's except 1 has received. Neither the sender or receiver of the 1 SS in question has been online in 3 weeks so I'm gonna quit worrying about that one. As for OE, all OE's have received except one and that sender gave me an expected ship date, never have me tracking info and hasn't responded to queries over the last few days so an elf is in the works and that one should be on it's way tomorrow!!!!!! As such, I should be able to post names the day after Christmas once everyone has opened (and if the OE elf makes it by then)!! HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words and the reinforcement of the 12/3 deadline. I think I take on things as my responsibility and blame myself when it's something I had zero control over in the first place -- I grew up in a family that uses guilt as a tool so I just take it on regardless (But I'm working on that ). I too am enjoying receiving the cards! I love opening the mailbox and it being more than junk, bills, and mail for previous residents! Posting that you've received has helped me tremendously! It's so hard to check all the tracking numbers so let me ask this: If you've received but you're waiting until Christmas to open, could you please say so? My thing is I get you may fall on hard times after you sign up, just say so. No harm, no foul. Don't just disappear. Perhaps this person changed their screen name maybe? I feel awful for all of you who enjoy doing the shopping and surprising people only for some people to be this way but it's only been one day so maybe everyone will check in!!! Here's hoping! At the very least, the person sending to the person who seems to have disappeared (henceforth known as 'Waldo') hasn't checked in yet either so maaaaybe Waldo won't be receiving - which would obviously create a chain of flakes so I am NOT hoping for that outcome but like I said, it's only been a day and even though I listed the 3rd, I did feel it was a bit early but since it was my first time running this, I just mirrored Eve's rules and deadlines. If I do this next year, I'll probably push it back a week.
