  1. It's usually a wing it thing for us only because DH gets a case of"I just had to buy it " ,"that's not a lot for Xmas", or telling me I'm cheap because I have acceded to his wishes on what I've bought due to his "we're not doing a big Christmas"(LOL LOL LOL ROFL). I buy all year so except for a few things I am usually done before BF. I do usually buy household items on BF and budget about 250-300, this lasts me a whole year.(rubbermaid, sheets, towels, other kitchen and bath stuff)
  2. Fall gets put up about 15 Sept....I have to do it early because by mid Oct DH is BEGGING AND WHINING to put up the holiday(xmas) decorations...I usually try to hold him off till at least mid Nov...notice how I said TRY.. I usually give in and put it up sooner...I'm such a wimp.
  3. Don't know if prices will be better on BF but Amazon has the Instantpot Ultra on sale today. Instant Pot Ultra 8 Qt 10-in-1 Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker 149.99 now 83.77 Instant Pot Ultra 6 Qt 10-in-1 Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker 179.95 now 110.00

  6. Only part I can answer is that IMO yes LG is a good fridge.I have had a 22.5 refrig with a bottom freezer for almost 15 years. In all honestly it's NEVER given me any trouble.
  7. I actually really like pumpkin spice products..I just think its BONKERS to make EVERYTHING in that flavor only this time of the year, it totally ruins the enjoyment of pumpkin and spice treats. I tend to have pumpkin items year round, especially when I want the feeling of cozy comfort. You're in Ohio too so you know they do almost as much with Apple Cider products...I like them too ,just not EVERYTHING...just my humble old opinion
  8. Yay!!! I LOVE it when we get our own BF devided space on the forums...we're getting closer...hehehehe(renfield type laugh)
  9. No bet..I haven't been to Wallyworld in about a week but they were already making room in garden center for Xmas. I have to stop there today and will let you'll know if they are set up yet..BTW I'm here for Septmber. one more month to go...yay!!!
  10. No judgement from this house...just wanted to make sure we weren't UNICORNS...hehe
  11. This is totally be off topic..buut..does any one else have a someone in their circle that watches Christmas movies year round?. Currently DH is watching "Christmas With the Kranks" on demand... and he has the nerve to pick on my Hallmark Xmas movies...LOL
  12. Welcome! As this is your first rodeo here I would advise you hold on tight, let your inner bargain shopper take the reigns, and feel free to let the YIIPPEE fly as needed. We promise not to judge, but we will beg and plead for deal details along with shamelessly begging BRAD(runs site) for more contests, prizes and ALL THE ADS NOW. And yes we are all a little shall I say unique.
  13. Please NOOO!!!. It'll be here soon enough. Here in Ohio it can be LONG,COLD,SNOWY and ICY. Let me enjoy the reprieve while I can....Pretty please with sugar on top.
  14. Wow August !! It's the first time in 28 years I haven't had a child heading off to grade, middle or high school. The "baby" starts college at end of month. This feels so strange, GOOD but strange....LOL
  15. We don't have one close either..even if we did I know that the prices would preclude me shopping there..I've been to the ones around Atlanta and they are just NOT in my budget.
  16. Wow !!..July already..just checking in..off to stain a ton of decking in hot and humid weather

  18. Mine teases me too..in fact when I was out the other day I called to let him know I was going to finish Xmas and Bdays for our 4 grandaughters because I found a sale..he just laughed..I laughed to when I got over 150 dollars in toys for the girls for 31 bucks...total for 4 girls xmas and bdays(2 ) about 15 smackeroos a child when added to what I had already found...by my count close 300 dollars in stuff for about 60...GO ME !

  20. As my kids used to say when they were little,," I so "cited"...lol
  21. Oh I've been there..had my back done 22 years ago(L4,L5,S1), luckily had an awesome surgeon and haven't had a problem since( even had 2 kids) , though when he came out to see my family after he finished surgery he didn't know how in Gods green earth I had been walking at all my back was so bad. Hang in there it does get better. In my case I don't really even think about it except for scar and dentist because of screws and plates(profolactic antibiotics needed for dental procedures because of hardware)
  22. Thanks, it's been 22 years in this school system and all in all have had kids in k-12 since 1991... I have truly DONE MY TIME...LOL
  23. HOORAY!!! The youngest of 4 is officially a high school graduate. Today was graduation day! As I told all my long time friends at the school "I'm Done, finally"
