Lol. Much like JCP. I think they are mainly in the southeast. Plus, this one kind of got overshadowed by the Target ad. Can't get much love when you release at the same time as Target.

I was wondering this, too. They make it (sort of) simple for you to check. I recommend going here and following their tutorial to check: https://nest.com/thermostats/nest-learning-thermostat/tech-specs/#works/?mode=buy I have yet to do this, but certainly will before BF purchasing.

Nest Cam $139! First one under $149.

LOL. I can only imagine the giant disappointment on your face. Though, if it's the regular price, can you use the 50% coupon on Pg 2? 50% off regular price coupon is almost better then most deals.

What's the 25% toy coupon code?

Where are you going first this year on Black Friday/Thanksgiving?
bribri25 replied to Rockfordmom's topic in 2017
Too early to tell. We don't have enough ads yet. -
Playing your Google Play or iTunes music can be done, but will take some effort to set it up; it pretty much just natively works with Amazon Music. For you sister and her kids, they will all be able to talk to it independently, but it's only tied to one amazon account so the playlists, etc. may be tailored to mom. You can interrupt her while she's playing music; or notably "Aelxa, stop" to get her to stop what she's doing. Yup, she can definitely call them down to dinner with the drop-in feature. Alexa definitely works with the smart home. You'll probably have to configure an IFTTT rule in the hub when Alexa hears "lock the front door", which will be programmed to lock the door for you. If he likes gadgets, I bet he'd love to play with one of these if he gets his hands on one. No, no. Once it's set up, you don't need the app. In fact, I don't think you ever need the app and all setup can be on the computer.

Looks like this was pretty much summed up by a few others, but I'll throw in a few things that came to me: It can be used for ordering stuff on Amazon, but that's not all you use it for. Yeah, you can ask it questions about weather and traffic, but also to set timers for you, add things to a grocery list, start playing music. As you add more smart home components to your house (bulbs, switches, outlets, hubs, and remotes), you can tell her to turn on certain lights, plugged in items (xmas tree), and tv remote activities. This year, when the dot will be under $30, you really can't go wrong with getting one, trying it out, and see if it's something for you. You may use it once or twice a week to save you 2 minutes of your life, or you may use it 30 times a day for all kinds of things (useless, or otherwise), ....or you may just forget it's there most of the time and once in a while accidentally say "Alexa" and she will start answering/commenting on your next statement and then maybe you'll just unplug her for life.

11/5: 40% off Little Tikes 3 ft Trampolinehttps://cartwheel.target.com/o/little-tikes-3-ft-trampoline/-/187069

I'm pretty sure they have a % off on CM, and certainly Free Shipping. Usually a good bet is to get your sale stuff (non-Nike) during BF week, save up your KC and then look for a Nike sale the week after to use your KC on (since you can't use additional coupons on Nike) and buy it then. Tip: If you don't see a Nike sale before KC expires, buy something just to use it before expiration, then return it and you'll get new KC good for another month.

Go look back at the archives for Petsmart. You'll see 95% of the exact same items year after year. Their ad is never a surprise (except the year the cat litter price went up $1....maybe 2015?), so if you don't see what you're looking for in the old ads, go ahead and buy it now. If your items are in there, then you make the decision of whether you want to get there by 8am on Friday morning and stand in line for 45 minutes to check out; the lines aren't all that long, they just move really slow. I digress.... Kohl's historically has really long lines, but they are very organized and move in a timeline fashion. Joann Fabrics has the most time-consuming lines when it comes to custom fabrics and then checking out on top of that. Petsmart is one of the most annoying lines...

Last year was quite the change... First year in a while without that same $99 cameraAfter 3 years, the Beats headphone turn into earbudsRobot vacuum and wearables make their first appearance on the front page.

We were just barely into LCD/Plasmas. They were all the range and everything was "flat screen", even if still a CRT. They didn't get a whole lot better for a few years after, either. Lol

11/4: 25% off Lil Woodzeez & B. Toys https://cartwheel.target.com/o/lil-woodzeez-_n_amp-b.-toys/-/192826

I don't have any yet, but I'll answer your questions. Yes, you can program them, and independently. You can add something like 50 bulbs to a single hub, so you can add on more or replace after your initial 2 with just buying a new bulb and setting up the hub to recognize it (though, I expect one of these bulbs to last you 15-20 years). The whole process is on your smartphone to set up and program the bulbs. You can then control them with Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit. Edit: Oh, and also wanted to add they sell both the color version (you have the full spectrum of color for the lights), or just white where you can set the warmth or the light (warm orangish to white to cool blue).

You'll see many deals on them from now til xmas. There's varying generations, so not sure how set on the latest generation you are. Amazon will have them as lightning deals (maybe even a deal of the day) a couple times this shopping season.

I've been educating myself over the past week about smart home stuff and planning out all kinds of stuff that I want all over the house. This could be my most expensive BF ever... but there will need to be good deals; I'm banking on Amazon to have the deals as I'm not sure I can get in-store on Thursday evening to BB/Kohls (that Dot with KC has got to be pretty tops)/etc. before they start selling out. Probably getting a Wink Hub 2, A19 & BR30 bulbs (not sure which brand, yet), some light strips, switches, outlet plugs, maybe some sensors, and a Ring doorbell, definitely a Nest Indoor Camera, and maybe a front door deadbolt lock. Looking for a Google Home, Amazon Echo Show, and a few dots.

I don't take the kids with me much because half the stuff is for them. I have made a habit of taking them Friday morning to Petsmart (cat litter), Home Depot (batteries, poinsettias), and Menards (various random stuff), and have had no issues with them (other than being bored waiting in line at Petsmart...) Edit: Now DD7, and DS6

I'm looking for a secondary fridge for the garage (in Wisconsin where the winters often go below 0 degrees) so I don't want to spend too much, but also don't want it to die just after the warranty runs out. I'm looking at a Frigidaire at HomeDepot right now for $398, but may hold out a bit until some of the other BF ads are leaked.
-
Agreed. Those would be your most cost effective for quality solution.

Usually there's a disconnect between the toy book items and BF items, but you're more likely to get much better deals on BF. However, if it's a toy that you want that's in the toy book, it more than likely won't be on BF so you should get it during the toy book sale.
