  1. I'm not pregnant as of yet...but we have been going thru fertility treatments for a while, and I'm currently in a new cycle with new meds/injections....so if it works I'll be about 5 weeks pg and I will go but I will stay closer to my guarders and not go out in the masses. Its been 31 months of trying so you can bet I'll be extra safe. Now I just gotta get the BFP! LOL!

    GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BFP!!!!

    :crossfing

maybe you will get a BF BFP! :yup:

  2. yay, i am glad everyone is going to try the sausage balls! My hubby has been pestering me for them already! I make my pumpkin rolls from scratch. I havent tried the walmart ones! I will have to now! :)

    here's 2 christmas-y fudge recipes:

    Candy Cane Fudge

    INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

2 (10 ounce) packages vanilla baking chips

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

    1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 1/2 cups crushed candy canes

1 dash red or green food coloring

    DIRECTIONS

Line an 8 inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, and grease the foil.

Combine the vanilla chips and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until almost melted, remove from heat and continue to stir until smooth. When chips are completely melted, stir in the peppermint extract, food coloring, and candy canes.

Spread evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan. Chill for 2 hours, then cut into squares.

    Egg Nog Fudge:

    INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

    2 cups white sugar

    3/4 cup butter

    2/3 cup eggnog

    2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    12 ounces white chocolate, chopped

1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1/4 cup chopped walnuts

    DIRECTIONS

Grease a 9 inch square pan and set aside.

Combine the sugar, butter, eggnog, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to melt the butter. Once the mixture reaches a rolling boil, stop stirring, and clip a candy thermometer onto the pan.

Heat mixture to 235 degrees F (113 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from the water and placed on a flat surface.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the white chocolate pieces, marshmallow cream, vanilla, and walnuts. Beat the mixture with a wooden spoon until fluffy and it starts to lose its gloss. Spoon into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Cool completely, then cut into small squares for serving.

  3. i love the tv commercials for it! usually its the very first of the christmas commercials, followed by that freak durecell battery one where sants is driving the semi truck that delievers batteries to the kids hospital for the toys. **sniff sniff**
  4. i agree with momlori. i absolutely LOATHE people who use black friday to scam or profit off good people. Get a real job and leave the profit making to the businesses. These are the same people probably buying up the whole lots of zhu zhu pets and making crazy bank off them when good people cant find ONE at the 7.99 STORE PRICE for their kids for christmas. That kind of behavior is so dirty. I am glad I wasnt raised to act like that and I will be sure to raise my kids the same.
  5. we like sausage balls. Its just a roll of pork sausage, 2 cups of bisquick, and 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. You mix them all (by hand) and make balls and bake til done. They are so yummy! :)

i also love pumpkin rolls! mmmm.....now you got me all christmas-y again! heehee!! :holiday16

  6. my kmart did the same thing. I loved that. what i did not love was that they gave multiple tickets to one person who then had their buddies show up with food right before the doors open and people who were just a handful behind him didnt get their ticket and had been out there since 3am, but his warm fed buddies did. **shakes head** I hate that kind of behavior on BF.
  7. i love claires (its an accessory store in our mall here) for things like mini purses, keychains, hair accessories, nail polishes, body tattoos ,bracelets, anklets, funky knee high socks, ect.

for boys, maybe try hot topic (another local store i dont know if you have in your mall) for wallets, keychains, buttons, cool mint boxes, belts, ect.

good luck! I love doing stockings, I love how fun it is to make such a mixed bag of trinkets! :)

  8. i did twice. in 2003 i was only about 3 1/2 months along, I have a blood sugar drop and blacked out in the disney store...(after being in line outside the mall for hours and eating a crappy breakfast of pumpkin pie and hot chocolate, lol) and got up off the floor, had a pretzle, and went home to nap...i got up 4 hours later and finished shopping! LOL! Then I went at 5 1/2 months pregnant in 2006 and did just fine. I had a few pushers who ignored my large belly already but I was not pregnant in my elbows and I was not afraid to use them...a lot! to protect my belly! :D The chair idea is great, I wish I had thought about that! I just sat my fat rump on the freezing cold ground outside Target! LOL!
  9. I live in GA, the best BF day of my LIFE was when I was about 16 (so yeah 11 years ago) we had an extreamly cold thanksgiving and we stood in line at 4am in 25* weather with snow flurries for hours. It was one of the coldest days of my life, LOL, and I have longed for it since. Maybe el nino will be kind to the wierdos like myself and grant us with another freezing cold snowy BF morning... :fluffy:

....giddy up giddy up giddy up lets goooooo lets SHOP in the snooooow..... :D
