  1. thank you illinoismom, the sentence *did* read something to the effect of "the moron you should be worrying about isnt the one sneezing" or something along that line. I am the last person to call a pregnant BF shopper a moron...see "have you ever shopped on BF while pregnant".

anyhow i stand by my original suggestion of throwing some purrell in your purse and enjoying your day! :) Happy shopping!

  2. yes...things have changed drastically since my first experience too (roughly the same time ago as you). I mean, it was still funny to watch people running through the mall to get to KB toys, but there was cheering when people were dragging their huge see through (ha! scary now much?!?!) plastic bags full of toys past the line waiting to still get into the store. I also dont think its so bad at the mall with babies, but at the front of a line at walmart or target scares me so bad. Of course that was when you didnt hear about moms getting shot over a wii in a parkinglot, or fistfights over things at TRU. I dont know if its the economy or just the general evolution of who is coming out to BF shop, but things are much different now than then. :( its a shame too, because now its almost servival of the fittest and a lot of the christmas spirit is gone. I almost contemplated not even going out this year, and I am a hard core shopper!
  3. LOL these are hilarious! Miss Star I officially want to BF shop with you, I like your thought process! teehee!!

BCB is that your puppy in your avatar? Its so cute I cant stad its little face this morning!!!

OK, yes the kid thing irks the hell out of me too. Especially when its BABIES!!! I mean really is it these people's first BF? do they not know the moshpits/angry mobs, sleep deprived sugar jacked up psychos??? (and thats just me!) that are out there?!?! ;)

  4. For me the worst thing is the people who show up at 5 til and wait at the end of the lanes in the parkinglot facing the door after other people have been standing in the cold for hours. I love how most the time they act like they cant hear anything anyone is saying and even smirk sometimes! ugh!!! Then when the doors open the go right in at the beginning of the lines.

I tend to get *very* verbal with these people!!! While the still locked!! :gdyelling::gdboxer:

  5. I want my kids to go 3 hours without fighting....just three hours....thats it, three....**sigh**

I'd also like a few books of the Zombie nature, a new hand mixer, a new pillow, a GC for clothes, organizer for 2010, and Yatzee and I am officially stumped, LOL.

  6. i love the white elephant gift exchange! i also love a set of napkins i got at party city one year that were paper but had christmas themed drinks with recipes on them. Then you could make the drinks that are featured on the napkins and others can take a napkin home as a recipe swap!

if there will be kids, a cookie decorating station could be a very messy but fun option too! :)

  7. i seen a peanut butter ball recipe somewhere that was super easy. It was peanut butter and something else...hmmm...anyhow you rolled them in white granulated sugar and refridgerated them for a while to make them firm. I will have to try and find that one.
  8. DS's want the lego city sets....umm have u seen how much these dang "sets" cost Not to mention how many you have to buy to make a city??? They remind me of the power ranger toys that you have to buy 5 to go together and then next year there is a new version and you have to start all over again!!

all my DS5 wants is legos, and by the price i am concerned, however I dont know how picky your sons are, but TRU has another brand called "best lock" and me and hubby opened a box right in the store after looking at a 1000 piece set with figurines for 29 or 39.00. the box says compatable with legos b/c they ARE legos!!! Just a different brand. Anyhow look them up on TRU.com and you may be pleasantly surprised as I was! Looks like the (wo)man in red is making dreams come true this year! LOL! :yup:
