  1. I got mine a few days ago, but there have been times in the past where I don't get the mailer until a day or two after the sale starts. I do always end up getting one though.
  2. I always order from Kohl's when they are on sale during the 30% off and can get free shipping. They have a great selection and I don't have to leave my house!
  3. I would stay away from Ozark Trail brand stuff at WM. My son got one of their sleeping bags as a gift and the zipper broke the second time he used it, and the seams started to fray almost immediately. We camp a lot and have a ton of equipment. We have found really great deals at Target during the winter clearance. Maybe you can get some basics to start with as the Christmas gift and then try to get some additional items in late Jan-Feb. Also I highly recommend an air mattress for at least the adults!
  4. No, that is not normal. Usually the coupons are good for the entire sale period and it is marked on the coupon itself. Maybe because this was in celebration of the store opening it was one time use but that seems unlikely.
  5. I found summer stuff 75% off today and got a bunch of stuff. There was still quite a bit left at around 4:30pm. I got: Metal table caddy (for silverware, napkins, plates) = $2.49 Drink stirrers = $.50 Large flexible frisbee = $1.24 2 different paddle sets = $1.24 each Waterballs = $1.32 Hula hoops = $1.14 Silly putty = $.50 Some other foam type balls for $.74 There was tons of tableware, dish sets, pitchers, etc. but I told myself not to overspend just because it was 75%. It was all tempting, but for once I showed restraint!
  6. I'm experiencing the same frustrations.... lots of stuff out of stock and some of the prices on clearance items increased since last night!!!
  7. Thank you so much! I just ordered and used the code for free shipping for $35. Some of the bears indicate limited availability but hopefully I will get my full order.
  8. I hit one KM yesterday and got a few Polly Pocket designables sets for $4.50 and then the 10pk Littlest Pet Shop with zippered case for $9. All of the clearance stuff was out on rolling carts in the middle of the aisle. I checked some items in the regular aisle but nothing else was clearanced. No Legos at my store unfortunately.
  9. I was thrilled to get the Sportcraft Basketball table yesterday at 75% off. We missed these last year and have been wanting something like it for our basement play room. ###091170033 Sportcraft Basketball $32.48 Also DH picked up a bunch of camping stuff at 75% off. We are running out of room but loving all of these deals!
  10. My husband just stopped at a nearby Target and they are marking down toys right now. It's 9am on the East Coast.
  11. Thanks, OP! I saw them in Target too, but it wasn't the bonus version though. You get 3 extra ponies and 20+ accessories with the WM one. I saw one in the store at WM for $14 but it was all beat up. It did come with lots of extras.
  12. Our experience has been all positive. There are absolutely no hidden fees. You pay as you go, and you decide on how much at a time. After the expense of the phone, all you pay for is the minutes. We love it for the fact that we aren't locked into a contract. We have also had really good reception and have been in places where others were not getting service but Tracfone did!
  13. I don't think the minutes expire after 90 days as long as you keep the service going. In other words, as long as you add more minutes before the term date on the service, you will automatically keep a rolling balance. The shorter term airtimes are referred to as "pay as you go", so you basically keep extending the term on your phone every 90 days. How many minutes you pay for (to go along with the 90 day service) will depend on your usage. We usually buy 200 minutes at a time and get 400 for that same price. This is a great option for those not wanting to lock into anything long-term. I just took a quick look and it does appear the one year plan includes 365 days of service as well as 400 minutes which will be doubled. As PP said, you should mention when you call to activate that you are getting double minutes for the life of your phone service.
  14. A regular purchase of minutes comes with 90 days of service. As long as you are on top of it and use the phone with some regularity it shouldn't be a problem. But if you were buying this for emergencies only and don't use it much, you might lose track of end (term) date. I believe phone service on your phone will terminate on the end date, if you don't have any activity and you don't "re-up" with minutes purchase. So for some, it might just be convenience and peace of mind to know that they have a full year of service and they don't have to do anything. They wouldn't have to keep track of when the terms expire. I hope that makes sense.
  15. We have one already (different model) and love it, so I ordered another one as a backup. It is a great deal with double minutes included. You do order the minutes separately but it is very cost effective. I usually just go online and order the minutes when we are getting low, but you can also do it from your phone.
  16. One of our stores went 90% today. There were still trees and decorations left. It was the first one to go to 75%. I had to stop home but will head out to check others in a bit.
  17. If you have a Michael's they also have a big section of $1-$3 items. I got a lot of stocking stuffers there for kids and adults.
  18. I was in a Target yesterday and had the exact same thoughts. They were consolidating Christmas and there were so many bare shelves. A two-sided aisle in toys had the big ride-ons and Handy Manny tool benches filling the space. The dollar spot was also completely wiped out! I don't think clearance will be anything near what it has been, but in my case, that is probably a good thing as I have way too much already.
  19. I really only shop toys at WM but the two stores that I frequent in my area have kept prices the same as BF. Last year one of the stores lowered prices on some things the Monday after BF. I keep checking back this year but so far, they haven't lowered prices on anything, but they haven't raised them either. Stuff is slowly moving and it seems they are in no hurry to get rid of it. Maybe they don't need the shelf space
  20. Thanks! I got two shipped to my door for $44 total. I loved the last grab bag and will be giving these as gifts. I used all three codes as PP as well!
  21. Yesterday (Monday) I went to two Wal-Marts. I only looked at toys, but both had some of pretty much everything from BF left. One store actually had more stock then they did when I was there Friday afternoon. Everything I checked was all still at the BF promotional pricing.
  22. Man, I wish we had a Costco! I need a new one!
  23. You can use both, but the % off gets deducted from your total after the $20 Kohl's cash is taken off.
  24. I was just coming to post the same thing. My WM had 90% off Halloween as well. I picked up some more costumes for dress-up. The cashiers were complaining to each other about what a nightmare this Halloween clearance is. I don't know why because everything rang up correctly. The one cashier told the other one that this is the last day, and they are going to pack it up and "get it outta here!"
