I learned from a friend of mine not to put everything from Santa, when her kids got older (6 or 7)they wanted to know why she could afford to buy all these cool gifts for their cousins and never bought anything for them! LOL Besides I want a little credit too! It's probably about even with what mom and dad do compared to what Santa brings here! Santa brings the hard to find gifts here or the must haves or the really neat things that the kids didn't even know they wanted LOL. Most everything is wrapped in paper that only Santa uses. Each child's gifts are wrapped in their own special paper from Santa and they know what paper is theirs because there are always a bunch of little things in their stocking wrapped in that paper! Usually 1 'big' gift is unwrapped and sitting out all ready to be played with. Always has a bow and a tag on it too!

WOW they had 100 at all the TRU stores on BF at opening. They have more already?? Must be getting more in every day sounds like they won't be so scarce soon!

Oh and you want to know the best part...some of the people that had tried to line jump ended up at Kohl's. We had 3 16+ teenagers that were holding our spot @ Old Navy (which TRU could take a lesson from) so when we got there we sent them next door to kohl's. After we were done @ Old Navy we went down to relieve them. The women who were directly behind them, that had tried to line jump them to be first, well they started screaming at my friend about cutting! She politely told them that whether it was the 3 kids of the 3 adults that went in the store the out come would be the same. 3 people would be in the font of the line! How do you all feel about someone holding a spot and leaving when the people who they were holding for showed up? I think it would be different if we had joined them but we made the kids sit in the car while we shopped @ Kohls.

As someone who at the front of the line @ my local TRU I'm going to say that if they don't get their crap together someone is going to end up dead there too! A man threatened to trample a woman who was 7 1/2 months preg! Because she told him the end of the line was back there! He said he'd take his chances and people around her said he wouldn't get in front of them, he said watch me I'll trample her. The cops were called, about 20 showed up they closed the road down into TRU and people started parking across the street and walking over!!! I was in the front of the line and if it hadn't been for a friend I probably would have ended up trampled myself, no joke here! She was holding on to my jacket pushing me back as everyone was pushing me forward from behind. There were 3 carts in the doorway that I was shoved against...I'm some sore today. It was crazy and I was so shaken I ended up leaving with out half of my list! Oh yeah and get this one! A friend that I was there with got 'tickets' for the iPod and xbox 360 package. They told her she could come back and get it anytime before 11am. She went back @ 6am and they sold hers to someone with out a ticket so as not to cause a riot! NICE!!! So she is out the 2 big things she wanted there and stood in line for 6 hours to get!

what really drives me nuts is band directors 'encouraging' parents to buy from one particular outfit. I bought from the one my oldest childs band director recommended and we moved 2 years later....only to find the new band director thinks she needs a new trumpet because we didn't buy it from her supplier....WTH! I spent over $800 on that trumpet! Don't tell me it's junk just so I'll buy a new one from YOUR supplier!! I wonder if they get a kick back from 'their' suppliers!!!! I'm over it and told her I would NOT buy a new trumpet until that one fell apart and couldn't be put back together! I bought my younger childs clarinet from an independent music store that has been around for YEARS and well the band instructor isn't real happy...wanted me to bring it in on the day the company was there so they could check it over...ahhhhh no thanks! I have a contract with this other place to provide all maintenance and other schools in the area use them so they can't be all bad. Grrrrrrr I'll stop now....I could go on and on!

I can't find FAQ's on price matching. I just read the policy and didn't see anything about door busters not being included. Can it really be called a 'door buster' when it is a 2 day sale.

mine has been...I've bought a lot of items PM and then used a TQ and MQ making $25 items $5! NEVER have they not taken a coupon with a PM in my experience! I certainly wouldn't go in and buy 20 of them! I would go buy a couple for my nieces though...actually I plan on doing that tomorrow!
