DD14 started going with me when she was 10 I think maybe 11, but she has always stayed with me and we have had no problems.She loves to shop and wants a good deal too.

I am wanting to get DD14 a laptop for Christmas. Sams Club is having a good sale on Nov 11. Is there a major difference between an i5 and i7 processor. She will be using it for school work, and would like to do some simple graphic design. I was sitting here doing some work and talking to company when I saw it! Torture to wait.

I still want to do both. I'll probably do more online this year though. I really like the poinsettias and a few other things I can't get online. Plus I love the time out with DD and my mom.

We also shop toys all year for Toys for Tots. DD14 and I like to do angel trees too. We also do gifts one of the senior homes near us. Our school does food baskets also. One of my favorites is the salvation army buckets in front of so many stores. My granddaddy could never pass one without putting change in it. DD and I try to make sure we can do the same. He has been gone over 30 years but the giving continues.

Before my kids got married I spent about $150 each (unless there was a big need) now I spend $75 on each. So to be clearer I spend $75 on my DD and I spend $75 on her DH ( best SIL ever!!). If I buy a board game or something for them together I split the cost and take it out of both envelopes.

Finally my checking has paid off!!

We have company from out of town this week so its hard to find time to shop right now. Everyone is asleep but me now!! They are one of my favorite stores to shop . I probably spend more money there than anywhere, but only after I make sure the sales and Kohls cash are making their deals better than other stores. I liked it better when the discount could be used on everything.

Son wants a tool cart like the one on page 7. Its a possibility if mom and I combine our funds (we usually do)

I am thinking about getting one of me DDIL's a Vera Wang purse from Kohls. She saw it recently and liked it. If it goes on sale BF will I get it for a better price is always the question that drives me crazy So how do you decide. I check last years ad but that brand is not shown. I am not trying to be cheap but with a large family the budget is limited and I want to get the most bang for my buck and get them things they would really like
