Not the same. Dsi allows you to connect online to get games (the ones available online; not all are). My kids have used it to write to each other but they have not been able to figure out how to use one game in one dsi to play in the other (multiplayer games). I think it has two cameras instead of one and the screen is a little bigger. I can't remember if there r any other differences but my niece has the lite and she has just as much fun

When did you place your order.

Nothing is specified. I ended up cancelling the order because during the summer I placed an order like that and after a month of waiting they ended up cancelling and I never received the item. Although it is without mp3 songs I ordered the one from 6th avenue which showed as in stock and I should receive before Christmas. I would have liked the one from Amazon but I didnt want to take the risk. If they become available before Christmas I will probably order one just so that I can get the downloads; I can always return the one from 6th ave.

I checked my account and found that just today they issued me a refund; I received no cancellation emails. The transacation has a phone number however it has a fast busy sound and it does not work. I would have liked the bag but I guess I can do without it.

I didnt realize this... For the $40 (including shipping) you would get two remotes (one Motionplus) and a regular one. Im in for this one. My kids will be having sleepovers next month and two more remotes would def. help managing the kids. Did anyone notice the breakdown from the receipt.
