  1. I used photogonia.com for an xmas gift, and they did a very nice job--quickly and for a reasonable price. I haven't used any others to see how they compare, but I highly recommend them. Oh, and it's so exciting to see a pic you took printed on canvas; made me feel like Van Gogh! Good luck! http://www.photogonia.com/
  2. I bought my son a queen-size memory foam mattress a couple of months ago, and it is amazingly comfortable. I did my share of research before buying and really liked the friendly, informative site at bedinabox.com. Here's the link if you're interested: http://www.bedinabox.com/shop-home-memory-foam-mattresses-c-26_22.html
  3. Thanks. I've looked at these forever and finally got one! Also, if you click on the "other products by CHI" link directly below the item name at the top of the page, you'll find lots of other CHI products at amazing prices.
  4. It worked! I'm working from Picasa web albums, and I think they're all different. I just right clicked on the pic, went down to Properties, copied the location (http:...) and pasted it into the box that comes up here when you click the mountain (insert picture) icon. Whew. Good luck.

  7. Great deals! Unfortunately, I think I missed the boat. Everything I tried to put in my cart was "no longer available for purchase." I think I'll call and see if the PacSun store near me has anything similar going on. Good luck to everyone else... excellent bargains if you can get them!
  8. The Kmart by me should have closed years ago. I shopped there for the double coupon thing last week for the first time in many, many moons. And guess what... it's STILL filthy (dead dried-up lizard on the floor right when I walked in, garbage in carts, dusty/faded merchandise, narrow aisles, half-empty shelves, employees who could use a lesson in hygiene, overall unkept feel). All of the things that drove me away two years ago--and then some--will keep me away again. It's a shame, because the potential is there. It's in an otherwise busy shopping center with lots of newer residential development around it. If the head honchos would simply take some lessons and cues from inviting/successful stores such as Target, I think they'd do just fine. The fixes they need to make are NOT rocket science or bank breakers; IMO, it's nobody's fault but their own if they go under.
  9. Today I was at the one closest to where I live, on very North Dale Mabry, although I also shop the Bruce B. Downs and SR 54/Trinity locations--just depends on my errand route. What about you? Do you shop any of the Tampa Targets? Hey..... maybe you're the one who gets all the MMs ahead of me...
  10. Aisles and aisles of stuff @ 75% in my Tampa store today--with aisles and aisles of people, too. So much to pick through and choose from! I got everything from dog stockings stuffed with toys to candy to gift tags to power strips to wrapping paper to photo frame ornaments and more! I also got some red box items (pedometer, tie rack) and the last 2 care care kits. Made my day! Although I'm not in the market with two teenage sons, I saw a lot of High School Musical and Camp Rock-themed stuff also 75% off (pens, makeup sets, candy) in the Xmas aisles. There was lots of other clearance throughout the store, as well, including 50% off selected coolers, wine glasses, knife sets, camping gear, baseball items and golf stuff (got a box of 200 Callaway tees for $5.98!). Seemed like every aisle had at least 1 or 2 clearance tags enticing me to turn down and check it out. If other stores are anything like mine was today, it all will be gone in no time. If you're planning to go, go now! It was a great day at Target!
  11. The glass bulb thing was in 100 pieces and went out with the trash. All I have is the (empty) plug-in unit. Maybe I can take that in and explain what happened? Can't hurt, like you said. As far as new scents, I went out on a limb and ordered Vanilla Coconut and Mango Mandarin in both Wallflowers and oil and Coconut Lime Verbena in just the oil. Being a Florida girl living on a lake, I tend to keep things light and tropical.
  12. Wow! Great deals! My son gave me one of the Wallflower starter kits for Xmas, and the glass scent thingie dropped out and splattered all over the floor before I even got it plugged in. I ordered a bunch of refills for less than half price... can't wait to enjoy all of the different scents--though hopefully coming from the plug-in unit rather than my tile floor. Oh, and the $10 off $50 code worked for me, too!
  13. Well, after a couple more calls and pleading my case to anybody who would listen at mlb.com, I officially struck out. They absolutely refused to budge on allowing me to return or exchange the T-shirt, even after I told them I would report their shoddy service and NEVER return to their site again. I guess $36 in their pocket means more to them than a loyal customer. Bah Humbug!! Buyer beware at mlb.com! I, for one, won't be back! P.S. We ended up giving the T-shirt as a Christmas gift to the little brother of my son's best friend, and he LOVES it! That's the good news.
  14. TRU is having a one-day sale tomorrow (Thursday). Pictionary Man is on the back page of the ad: http://toysrus.shoplocal.com/toysrus/default.aspx?action=entryflash&
  15. They want $86.05 for Pictionary Man at amazon.com? Are they joking? Yikes! I paid $30 for it at amazon and at Target a couple of weeks ago. It's listed for $19.79 @ TRU.com but out of stock. Anxious to see if they'll actually have it in stores for the sale tomorrow. Good luck to you, gummibear!
  16. Yes, the invoice says "M" and the t-shirt says "M." The sizing chart on mlb.com says "M" = 10/12. The t-shirt is NOT a 10/12.
  17. I'm in the same boat... just waiting to see in on sale somewhere. So far no luck. In fact, in most places I've looked online, it's out of stock.
  18. I recently ordered a Tampa Bay Rays T-shirt for my son on mlb.com. He wanted the last name GARZA on the back (as in Rays pitcher Matt Garza), which classifies it as "customized" even though we chose the name/number from a drop-down list of Rays players. The shirt arrived about 2 sizes too small. They claim it's a boys 10-12, but it honestly is more like a 6-8. I found the sizing chart on mlb.com, and my son falls well within the range of the size they say this shirt should fit. The tag just has an "M" for medium. Once it goes through the washer/dryer, it would probably fit a small build-a-bear. I've been on the phone with mlb.com 3 times, most recently with a supervisor. No matter how I explain the situation, they tell me that they do not take returns on "customized" items. In yesterday's conversation, they laid blame on the t-shirt manufacturer and said it's that company's policy and there's NOTHING they can do about it. They would not give me the name of someone I could speak with at the manufacturer or the mlb.com contact. The bottom line is, they're telling me that I'm stuck with a $36.99 t-shirt that won't even go over my son's head because I must have ordered the wrong size and it's customized. No accountability, no recovery (other than offering me 25% off any item next time I shop there.... ha!). I even threatened to cancel 2 other pending mlb.com orders; he didn't budge. I'm furious, hard-headed and determined to win. Has anyone gone through a similar situation? Any advice on the next steps I should take would really be appreciated.
  19. This game looks like tons of fun for the whole family. I already bought 2: 1 at Target and 1 at amazon.com, both $29.99. Ugh. Worth returning? Probably. I told myself I wouldn't do that this year, but a deal's a deal!
  20. I agree with grrrrrrrrrrr..... about ready to give up---but I REALLY want some of those blankets. I've been checking the price all week and they're finally where I can afford to stock up. I guess I have decide between Grrrrrrrrrrr and Brrrrrrrrrr (no blankets ). Sigh.
  21. OK, not much of a techie here--and the site's moving real slow for me right now, making it hard to look around--but I did get 2 of the 6-foot HDMI cables. They're $8.99 with free shipping and a $7 rebate = $1.99 each final price!
  22. I got one of these TVs for each of my sons. Great reviews online, from a friend who owns 2 of them and also from the guy at Target who helped me with them--he says it's one of their top-sellings TVs. It has a great picture and controls on the side (which many TVs of that size don't have--great for when the remote is lost or being slept on. ). I plan to price adjust for both--and those GE HDMI cables reg. 27.99 that will be 9.99--on BF afternoon. Never a problem with that--as long as you do it either Friday or Saturday. Happy shopping!
  23. I was just asking my sons about these yesterday--wondering if either of them had tried them because I see them everywhere. Neither one has. My DS15 says the "regular" headphones, other than the ones that actually came with his ipod Touch, hurt his ears. Has anyone tried these? Are they comfortable? They look like they'd be "imposing" in your ear, but I don't know. They just seems to be so popular these days.
  24. These are nice. I wish they were bigger, though. My teenage sons and their friends say their feet get cold with the 50 x 60s I already have for them in the linen closet to use for sleepovers. I'm looking to stock up on some 50 x 70s to make sure those feet stay toasty-warm, then I'll pass the smaller ones on to my dogs.
  25. I got 2 of the simple Memorex ipod docks on clearance at Target last week for $17.48 (50% off). No clock, no radio, no alarm, just a simple ipod dock/charger with remote. The sound is great for what it is; wel'll see if they last.
