Do you and your spouse agree on gifts for your kids?
momlori replied to shopping4my3son's topic in 2014
This is the one area I loved being a single parent. The only person to decide was me. As for your issue, you may want to check to see if they each like the same games. So long as they like different games on the different platforms you should be good, but if they both like the same, you may lose your TV. In which case, you get a new one for the bedroom -
Everything comes with it's own unique risks. I just watch my accounts and take precautions. That is the best I can do, so I try not to worry too much and will deal with it when it happens

Mine says 6pm PDT. Something is out of whack -
Full price only on those "must haves" that can not be found on sale at all. (or the rare instance I can not wait like an appliance)

Do your homework. Know what it is your are going in to get, get it and get out. BF is not the time to browse

Good question and I think it depends on how you shop on line. For myself, I go on line do a quick check out and am done. This allows me to spend the time with family and friends and not miss out on time with them as opposed to being in line at a store. Employees are working at all hours and days regardless of holidays and my DS will be working at Disney that day. It is only a matter of what shift he gets.

Luggage reccomendations wanted.

The biggest suggestion I can make is get a spinner. That is a suitcase that has 4 wheels and moves in any direction. Other than that, it is mostly personal preference on hard sided vs. soft side. Samsonite tends to last pretty well and for the last 2 years Kohls has had one for BF. -
Due to the hours, mostly on line. I will still go out for the "feel" but sadly that is all

I keep a hand written list and the physical ads. I have had my electronics fail at crucial moment not BF so I don't want to take the chance

I dont know about talent but patience is a must and I really do not have it. Those are amazing

Nothing like having the actual ads in hand

Congrats to all the winners. Some really good captions

Sears usually has some good deals for BF and for their Friends and Family sale. I would do some recon now to find out what you want so you can jump on the deals as they come

Looking forward to the first 2 weeks of November

Know what you want before you go in. This is not the time to browse. Hit your hot items first, checkout and then go back for more.

WOW - now I feel really old.

This reminds me of the time I was in line at Target and there was a KB Toys across the parking lot. KB was supposed to open about 1 hour before Target but I did not need anything there so I waited for Target. About 5:30 the KB people started to come over very unhappy. KB was unable to open because someone had put super glue in the locks and they were waiting for a locksmith before they could open
