  1. Good question and I think it depends on how you shop on line. For myself, I go on line do a quick check out and am done. This allows me to spend the time with family and friends and not miss out on time with them as opposed to being in line at a store. Employees are working at all hours and days regardless of holidays and my DS will be working at Disney that day. It is only a matter of what shift he gets.
  2. The biggest suggestion I can make is get a spinner. That is a suitcase that has 4 wheels and moves in any direction. Other than that, it is mostly personal preference on hard sided vs. soft side. Samsonite tends to last pretty well and for the last 2 years Kohls has had one for BF.
  3. Due to the hours, mostly on line. I will still go out for the "feel" but sadly that is all
  4. I keep a hand written list and the physical ads. I have had my electronics fail at crucial moment not BF so I don't want to take the chance
  5. I dont know about talent but patience is a must and I really do not have it. Those are amazing
  6. Nothing like having the actual ads in hand
  7. Congrats to all the winners. Some really good captions
  8. Sears usually has some good deals for BF and for their Friends and Family sale. I would do some recon now to find out what you want so you can jump on the deals as they come
  9. Sometimes alone and sometimes with a friend. With the hours this year I may not be going
  10. Know what you want before you go in. This is not the time to browse. Hit your hot items first, checkout and then go back for more.
  11. WOW - now I feel really old.
  12. This reminds me of the time I was in line at Target and there was a KB Toys across the parking lot. KB was supposed to open about 1 hour before Target but I did not need anything there so I waited for Target. About 5:30 the KB people started to come over very unhappy. KB was unable to open because someone had put super glue in the locks and they were waiting for a locksmith before they could open
  13. After shopping all morning I got home to talk to neighbors to find out they were behind me in line at Target when his girlfriend started to vomit. Like a good boyfriend he held her hair but told me about all the abuse they had to hear just because she was ill. Some people are not very tolerate at 4am
  14. Target used to do gift bags and sometimes coffee and hot chocolate. That meant the most because they were thinking of us out in the cold weather
  15. My DS wants and Xbox One and the grandson wants the Disney Infinity 2.0
  16. Hometown Christmas parade followed by hot chocolate and sugar cookies. Santa's "Elves" leaving Christmas pjs under their pillows on Christmas eve. Decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. An advent tree with a new ornament each day that counts down to the star on Christmas eve. Getting a special ornament every year for each child's collection for when they leave home

What hobbies, interests, sports, etc do they like?
  18. It depends if the sales are on line, but usually I have a written list of what I want to get from the leaked ads and order as much as possible on line before BF. I still eagerly await the newspaper on Thanksgiving and go through it in case I need to add to my list for in store purchases
  19. Photo 1: Lady at end of the line "So do you thing I will get the TV?" Photo 2: One week in line and I am first in the store. I better get that doorbuster now. Photo 3: Why didn't I shop online? Why, why, why????
